SAP PIPO Service Delivery Manager

The opportunity
The PI/PO SDM will play a key role in the support of the Mercury technical landscape and associated technology solutions which leverage or integrate with the core SAP applications, including SAP ECC, BW, CRM, SRM, CLM, CPM and GRC and Cloud based solution such as – SAP CPI, Microsoft Dynamics, C4C, ARIBA Buyer, ARIBA Sourcing. PI/PO SDM will work closely with Application Technology-PI/PO Integration Lead and the process aligned Service Delivery Managers to provide specific, technical expertise regarding the integrated solution which is required to run each business process, including knowledge of the dependent and impacted applications and the associated inbound or outbound interfaces.
Your key responsibilities
SAP PO SDM will assume operational responsibilities, to include day-to-day support and management across the integrated technical solution and the functional areas, assess the impact of changes to technical solution, provide guidance and assess/validate estimates provided by 3rd parties and internal teams. They will work closely with the SAP Process Experts and the SAP Managed Service Support team to ensure the proposed solutions are operationalized and consider the ongoing impact to support requirements and the ability to maintain system integrity in line with agreed technical road maps.
Skills and attributes for success
- Experience with developing custom solutions, and optimization of code in SAP ECC/CRM/SRM/BW- integration with PI/PO (KEY SKILL)
- Experience on implementing standard integration packages.
- Experienced in SAP PO operations support, production configuration, and implementing/solutioning of change requests.
- Experience with adapters SFTP, SOAP, REST and ODATA methodologies
- Configured JDBC, FILE, HTTP, FTPS, SOAP, REST, IDoc, RFC and Mail adapters, among others.
- Experience with SAP Business Framework Architecture APIs like, BAPIs, ALE, RFC, SOAP.
- Experience with integrating cloud solutions like C4C, ARIBA Buyer, ARIBA Sourcing.
- Good understanding on security concepts – SSL, public cert/private keys, digital signing, and PGP encryption.
- Knowledge and experience on SAP CPI development and support.
- Familiar/experience with SAP BTP Tools and Products.
- Experience on Java Programming is also an advantage.
- Experience din break/fix analysis and solution recommendation for finance related processes.
- Good understanding on SP/release upgrades, new functionality/enhancement assessment
- Good working knowledge with ABAP programming related to IDoc, Proxy, and FMs.
- Good understanding of software development, testing, and release management.
- International experience and experience working with global ERP rolls-out.
To qualify for the role you must have
- Minimum of 8 to 10 years build/development SAP PO middleware experience gained through a combination of implementation projects and post go-live operations support.
- Experience in requirements gathering, estimation, design, development, configuration, administration, centred around integration based on functional requirements.
- Detail-oriented – great in doing documentation, noting test and troubleshooting evidence, technical specifications, architecture diagrams, processes, etc.
- Teaming and Independence - A good team-player but can work independently at the same time.
- Global collaboration – highly collaborative, and can work with resources/teams across the globe, coming from different backgrounds and cultures, from varying business streams and technical expertise.
- Has good sense of ownership, flexible, and able to multitask.
- Assertive and decisive – critical specially during high priority situations that require SDM guidance, and able to report to leadership.
- Process-centric – consciously uses processes to get optimal business results, from guidelines, standards, naming conventions, operational ways of working.
- Communication – good English communication skills, in both verbal and written.
- Experience in setting up SLD environment and creating technical systems and Business Systems.
- Experience with RFC destinations on R3 and PI side, Configuration of RFC, IDOCs, ALE configuration, configuring Port, Partner Profiles, Logical System and ABAP Proxy configuration
- Experience with ALERTS configurations and designed Transport mechanism.
- Experience with Unit Test plans, Integration Test plans and UAT Test plans for testing of PI based interfaces.
- Experience in Preparing Mapping Specification documents as per Web Methods.
- Deep understanding and experience of SAP technical integration capabilities including PI/PO and all aspects of interface monitoring, error handling and restart / recovery procedures
- In-depth knowledge of the relevant functional areas: Procurement, Finance, Engagement Management
- Experience in Message Mappings: Graphical Map, JAVA Map and XSLT Maps.
Ideally, you’ll also have
