IT Audit Manager – Technology Architecture - Financial Services
Role Overview:
- Leads IT infrastructure audit and assessment projects, focusing on the design, implementation, and resilience of core banking and financial services infrastructure.
Key Experience & Skills:
- 8+ years in IT infrastructure engineering within banking or financial services.
- Deep expertise in data center, branch and cloud operations, server/storage management, virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V), and high-availability architectures.
- Experience with regulatory requirements (e.g., SOX, FFIEC, MAS TRM) and industry standards (ISO 27001, NIST).
- Strong understanding of disaster recovery, business continuity, and capacity planning in regulated environments.
- Proven ability to assess infrastructure risks, identify single points of failure, and recommend remediation.
- Familiarity with infrastructure automation, monitoring, and ITSM tools (ServiceNow, BMC Remedy).
- Certifications: ITIL, MCSE, VMware, or equivalent.
Responsibilities:
- Lead audits of IT infrastructure (on-premises, cloud and hybrid) for compliance, resilience, and efficiency.
- Evaluate infrastructure change management, patching, backup/restoration, BCP/DR and configuration management processes.
- Collaborate with IT operations, architecture, and risk teams to ensure alignment with business and regulatory needs.
- Mentor audit team members on infrastructure best practices.
