The opportunity

We are looking for a Project Manager with PMO responsibilities as a dual role position, managing individual projects while also overseeing or supporting the processes, standards, and governance functions of the Project Management Office.

As a PM, you will  be responsible for planning, executing, and closing projects within an organization. You will ensure that project objectives are met, resources are used efficiently, and stakeholders are kept informed throughout the project lifecycle of Application engineering and Vendor tool onboarding projects.

As a PMO Analyst you will be ensuring that projects across the portfolio are executed efficiently, on time, and within budget. You will provide analytical, administrative, and reporting support to Service Delivery Lead/Manager, Project Managers and stakeholders, helping to improve project governance, processes, and overall performance.

 

Your key responsibilities

  • Project Planning & Monitoring and Controlling : Develop project plans, manage scope, objectives, timelines, and resource allocation, monitor project progress, prepare status reports, and adjust plans as necessary to meet deadlines.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, motivate, and manage cross-functional project teams to achieve project goals.
  • Stakeholder Management: Communicate with clients, team members, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment and satisfaction.
  • Budget Management: Monitor project budgets, track expenses, and ensure projects are delivered within financial constraints.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks, develop mitigation strategies, and resolve issues as they arise.
  • Progress Tracking: Monitor project progress, prepare status reports, and adjust plans as necessary to meet deadlines.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and client expectations.
  • Adherence to the organizational standards and procedures
  • Resource Management: Assist in tracking project resources, including personnel allocation, budget utilization, and equipment or software needs.
  • PMO Process Implementation: Develop, implement, and maintain project management methodologies, standards, and templates in line with PMO best practices.
  • Governance & Compliance: Ensure projects adhere to established methodologies, standards, and best practices by conducting project audits, reviews, and compliance checks.
  • Reporting and Analytics: Prepare and present regular project and portfolio status reports to senior management and key stakeholders.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to PMO initiatives to enhance project delivery and maturity.
  • Document Management: Maintain project documentation, templates, and records in accordance with organizational policies and industry regulations.

 

Skills and attributes for success

To qualify for the role, you must have

  • A Bachelor’s Degree (in any discipline)
  • 8 + years in a corporate environment, working in a Large MNC.
  • 4 to 6 years’ experience in a relevant PM and PMO role
  • Solid understanding of project portfolio management and PMO practices, with hands-on experience supporting multiple portfolios
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage competing priorities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, comfortable engaging with stakeholders at all levels
  • Demonstrated ability to analyse problems, drive solutions and process improvements.
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., Waterfall, Agile, Hybrid) and best practices.
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate, guide, and work collaboratively with teams.
  • Change Management: Experience with change management principles and the ability to drive organizational adoption of PMO processes.
  • Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and focus on quality in project documentation and reporting.
  • Must be good with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, JIRA, Asana), Office Suite, and portfolio management systems.
  • Flexible and resilient in a fast-paced, evolving environment

 

Ideally, you’ll also have

  • Process improvement experience
  • PMP, PRINCE2, or similar project management certifications; PMO-specific credentials are a plus.

 

What we look for

We’re looking for someone who will help the team as a primary PMO support resource for a portfolio of projects, overseeing project governance, documentation, resource management, portfolio reporting, and performance tracking.  Along with the PMO support , can step in as a PM, BA or Power platform Developer.
