The opportunity
By joining GDS Program & Operations Management CoE, you will be supporting the important business enablement functions that keep our organization running strong. As an operations professional, you will work across teams both onshore and offshore to provide the knowledge, resources and tools that help EY deliver exceptional quality service to our clients, win in the marketplace and support EY’s growth and profitability.
The Business Operations & Analysis (BO&A) team within P&OM CoE supports EY US regions and functions in their operational activities. The current open position is in the accounts payable/ purchasing support team, and the team members are required to assist in fulfilling the account payable and reconciliation of expenses related to EY US location administration and employees. Person joining the team is also required to assist in fulfilling the office supply order requirements of EY US location administration and employees. Successful candidate is expected to provide consistent responses & processing based on firm’s policies and best practices.
Your key responsibilities
- Receive and acknowledge requests assigned
- Process invoices and purchase requests with highest accuracy
- Follow firm’s guidelines and processes
- Track request process in the workflow management tool as well as other trackers maintained by the team
- Provide updates to requestors and reply to their queries in a timely manner
- Handle request volumes and maintain high quality service
- Work closely with EY Regional Business Managers, Location Managers, Client serving people, Mercury business advisors, On-shore team and Executive assistants
- Provide coverage & support to the team members to meet set timelines and in managing key deliverables

To qualify for the role, you must have
- Excellent Conceptual & Analytical Skills
- Good at number crunching
- Excellent communications and organizational skills
- Detail oriented and eager to analyse and solve complex process cases
- Exceptional customer service skills, including responsiveness and commitment to quality
- Strong and highly motivated work ethic
- Ability to perform well prioritized tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Ideally, you’ll also have
- Graduate / Post-graduate degree (Ideally in Commerce/Finance streams)
- 1 to 4 years of work experience in any finance operations domain (AP/AR/GL)
Technologies and Tools
- Demonstrated intermediate level experience in MS Office suite applications (Word, Excel & PowerPoint)
