GDS Overview

 

Global Delivery Services (GDS) – Clients & Industries Operations team provides operational and decision-making support to the Clients & Industries Leadership and to various Global Markets functions.

 

Our diverse teams specialize in coordinating Business Development (BD) activities, supporting Go-to-Market projects and providing operational support to the Clients and Industries organization. The team is spread across multiple locations around the globe.

 

 

Business unit specific description – Strategy Executions & Operations – Nordics

 

As part of the Strategy Executions & Operations, the Associate will be responsible for a diverse set of functions including support for Business Leaders, reporting and analysis, delivery management, and client relationship management. The role demands a high level of accuracy, and a commitment to timeliness, reflecting the team's emphasis on precision and reliability.

 

In addition, the position requires excellent communication skills—both written and verbal—across platforms such as email and Microsoft Teams.

 

 

Your key responsibilities:

 

  • Facilitate network meetings, develop actionable collaterals and drive action items till closure.
  • Provide business insights, project planning and coordination as well as budget management support.
  • Support stakeholders in transformation programs, control financials and measure ROI.
  • Innovate, automate and standardize processes to build efficiencies.
  • Help increase impact of the outlined strategies and run seamless day-to-day operations.
  • Read, understand and sanitize the data, build reports, and provide insights.
  • Drive meetings, build presentations that interpret the data and create valuable business insights.

  • Interact effectively and maintain good rapport among a diverse group of team members, customers, and colleagues, demonstrating tact and diplomacy.
  • Interact directly with the stakeholders to capture first level requirements for the projects and capture the requirements for complex projects.
  • Effectively handle routine tasks including follow-up and respond appropriately to unexpected situations, communicating the concerns to Strategy Executions & Operations leadership as required.

To qualify for the role, ideally you should have

 

  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to anticipate risks and opportunities, think proactively, forecast potential outcomes, and recommend effective solutions.
  • Process Automation: Exposure in automating workflows using Excel and Microsoft Power Platform tools such as PowerApps and Power Automate.
  • Data Visualization: Familiar with tools like Power BI for creating insightful visual dashboards.
  • Continuous Learning: Self-driven with a strong commitment to ongoing learning and skill enhancement.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Demonstrates confidence, maturity, and the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.

Ideally, you’ll also have

 

  • Graduate / post-graduate degree - (Business Administration and Management) with 2 to 4 years of work experience.
