Staff:
Responsibilities:
- Prepare draft statutory financial statements for EY clients
- Prepare roll-forward standard information request and compliance calendar
- Validate data for global statutory reporting and tax compliance engagements
- Actively establish, maintain and strengthen relationships both internally within the EY network and externally with clients
- Gain a thorough understanding of business processes and operations adopted by the client to identify their requirements and ensure it is met through regular updates, schedules and reports
- Ability to provide timely and comprehensive answers to clients’ queries
- Willingness to challenge status quo processes and desire to implement process improvements by providing lean ideas, enforcing an environment with uncompromising controls and improve quality
- Experience in US GAAP would be an added advantage
Skills and attributes for success
- Good knowledge of IFRS
- Working Knowledge of ERP systems (Caseware experience would be an added advantage)
- Very good knowledge of Excel, Microsoft office and other financial tools
- Interest towards automation
