Job Summary:
Talent Services (TS) provides service offerings where the extended delivery model is used along with high-quality skills and competencies delivered virtually. This is across service lines and regions – delivering non-repetitive project-based work through skilled, agile teams. The team in the virtual hub is an extension of the regional talent teams and will cover operational/non-transnational scope.
Talent Consulting TS supports specific Regions and acts as part of the extended Region Talent consulting team.It works in a fully integrated way with onshore colleagues participating in meetings, projects and planning activities as part of one team. The Team supports the Region in performing operational and administrative tasks to allow the onshore team to focus on consultative and strategic activities based on the priorities of the Region.
The onshore team for this role is the Ireland Talent Team. It sits within the Core Business Services (CBS) function, providing crucial support to EY Ireland’s 5,000+ employee strong workforce.The ER Specialist acts as a critical supporting role to achieve our business and talent objectives while supporting the ER and wider Talent Partner team. This exciting opportunity indirectly supports business growth, performance management, the retention of top talent, employee engagement, and the overall re-enforcement of key talent policies and processes.
This role creates the unique opportunity to grow your HR experience in an ever changing, dynamic and fast paced professional services firm. The successful candidate will be focused on delivery of operational excellence across core human resources processes. The ideal candidate will bring a growth mindset to the role, familiarising themselves with existing systems and processes as well as bringing process enhancements to improve deliverables.
We are looking for a practical and detail orientated individual with excellent organisational, multitasking, and solution focused skills, with experience in the delivery of high-volume assignments.

Essential Functions of the Job:
Responsibilities:
Operationally support the Strategic Talent Partners (HR Business Partners) in delivering on our people calendar of key processes for your assigned service line business area
- Develop and support in the delivery of a master team calendar to ensure all team members are working to aligned deadlines
- Delivery of our annual performance management cycle (LEAD) by providing key support on administration, communication, reporting, data management and driving key actions and behaviours
- Supporting our regular promotion and progression processes through driving engagement with the business in the process, ways of working, usage of digital enablement tools and our DEI agenda, ensuring data accuracy throughout the process, scheduling of leadership reviews and panels and driving effective communication
- Supporting the end-to-end delivery of our annual pay review process
- Supporting and managing compliance and data in support of ISQM controls for which the team is responsible
- Managing the exam / graduate process end to end, including building a strong relationship with the EY Ed team, tracking success rates, assisting with exam failure issues, managing the “out of contract” process, managing any graduate-related reward mechanisms
- Contributing to monthly and annual team deliverables in a planned and programmatic way ensuring adherence to the talent calendar
- Standardise records and filing and ensure that the team is working on the basis of standard templates across all processes
- Employee relations support including query management, supporting meetings, administration, ensuring adherence to our HR policies and procedures
- Production of regular reports including recommendations of analysis and insights for presentation to leaders
- Acting as a point of contact for employee queries and directing them to appropriate teams and/or resources
- Supporting the Strategic Talent Partner on building, driving and delivery of the people strategy and people agenda including any specific initiatives relevant to your service line
- Contribute to the optimisation of workload to ensure opportunities for automation and technical enhancement are driven from ideation to delivery
- Act as a gate for new firmwide / global / regional projects that are to be delivered by the team
Knowledge and Skills Requirements:
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills, ability to plan, prioritise and multitask while working with high volumes of data in fast paced environment
- Excellent fluency in MS Excel. Power BI Tools, MS PowerPoint
- Good analytical capabilities with experience of leveraging data to create effective outcomes and conclusions
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with multiple stakeholders within different levels of organization
- Can do attitude, collaborative approach and readiness to learn and grow through on the job training
- Team player with the ability to flex and support on projects as needed
- Understanding of organizational behaviours and best practice
- Ability to be successful in a virtual team environment, working with limited supervision
Job Requirements:
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree, preference will be given for those with HR Specialisation
Experience:
- Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in HR or related field at a coordinator or administrative level
- Demonstrated experience working with different stakeholders with competing needs
- Working in international and diverse environments
