Infrastructure Architect-Design-Development technician – Output management
You have the responsibility to design and transition infrastructure print solutions to create stable and efficient print environments and other related services for new or existing customers.
You will be involved throughout the whole design phase, from understanding new or changed requirements, analysis, design, implementation and until the hand-over to the runtime organization are done. All this by taking into consideration existing processes, technical standards and guidelines, the result from analyzes of business needs and constraints. You can also take a role in RCA’s in cooperation with different vendors on solutions, propose, and contribute to enhancement and improvement of existing services and processes.
You will be part of a team of highly professional and skilled infrastructure technicians. You and the team will work within a complex global environment in collaboration with other technical teams in the ongoing projects and delivered services is of high importance. In this organization, we deliver services to multiple global customers. You will need to have the ability to work in a technically complex environment and at the same time understand, follow and help to improve workflow and processes.
Professional-Technical qualifications:
Over 5+ years of relevant experience of working in an enterprise environment.
- Solid background in Microsoft desktop OS, win 7, win 10
- Knowledge and experience with Active Directory, user/group/computer administration
- Broad knowledge within Microsoft infrastructure environment
- Knowledge and experience of PowerShell and scripting
- Knowledge and experience of working in an enterprise environment
- Knowledge of Office 365 is considered to be a plus
- Knowledge within the Network area is considered to be a plus
- Knowledge of Linux operations
- Broad knowledge within the SQL database services
- Printer configuration and drivers
- Optimize the printer fleet – Reduce number of printers
- Influence user printing behaviour – Optimise duplex and colour printing
- Drastically reduce paper/toner usage – Pull Printing and print rules
- Strengthen IT print management – Centralise administration of users and devices
- Establish confidential printing – Authentication and Pull Print
- Simplify document handling – Print anywhere, scan and share documents
- Central Administration of users, services and devices to optimise IT operations and support
- Essential Tracking to continuously monitor print activity, pin-point problem areas up-front, fine tune and optimise even more
- Access Control by adding Authentication at the printer to protect devices from unauthorised use of print, scan and fax functionalities
- Knowledge on scan to email, scan to file options
- Knowledge on various protocols such as SMB, SNMPV3
- Knowledge of creating and implementing infrastructure certificates
- Knowledge on SSL and TLS
- Knowledge on Cloud infrastructures
- Knowledge on infrastructure security zones such as DMZ
