The opportunity
- As an experienced Full Stack .Net Developer, within the Identity and Access Management (IAM) function you will:
- Lead the delivery of solution or infrastructure development services for small to large size projects, using strong technical capabilities with exceptional hands on experience!
- Designs, develops and is responsible for the maintenance of solutions or infrastructure work using standard methodologies and best practices for new features or modifications to existing features and functions.
- Role is an individual contributor, though may be asked to manage project aligned teams in their collaborative efforts and provide informal mentoring/coaching to junior members of the team
- Partners and collaborates with peers across Development & Engineering and Architecture teams, as well as external vendors such as Microsoft, as needed to understand, agree and plan the specific code modifications and enhancements vital to achieve the agreed development objectives.
Key responsibilities
- Leads the delivery of high-quality solution or infrastructure work, setting project timelines and continuously reviewing and updating the specifications, in line with user requirements
- Contributes to complex aspects of a project, performing coding, debugging, testing and troubleshooting throughout the development process
- Resolves intensified production and system enhancement issues
- Provides technical expertise to improve value from current solutions, infrastructure and emerging technologies and seeks to continuously improve internal processes
- Fully understand user requirements and translates requirements into design specifications
- Drives alignment to the relevant processes, procedures, standards, technical design
- Communicates all the ongoing activities and results to business sponsors, stakeholders, and management as part of knowledge sharing and reporting
- Work and provide expertise in developing applications in N Tier, MVC, and SOA Architectures using .NET Framework 4.5+ and Visual Studio 2015 or above.
- Creates or collaborate in the creation of visual mockups, prototypes, and diagrams, as well as performs or directs testing for compatibility in order to achieve an integrated architecture across interdependent technologies
Skills and attributes for success
- Experience in building web application with the ASP.NET framework and design/architectural patterns (e.g. Model-View-Controller (MVC)
- Experience in Power Shell scripting
- Experience in building Web services using REST, WEB API, WCF, ASMX.
- Experience in writing stored procedures and complex queries. LINQ is a plus.
- Experience in using ORM tool like Entity Framework or NHibernate.
- Experience in building UI layer using client-side frameworks like jQuery, Angular.
- Knowledge of SOLID principles and its implementation.
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, Bootstrap is a plus.
- Understanding of Agile methodologies
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills
- Able to work well in a team setting
To qualify for the role you must have
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT or equivalent work experience
- 5 years of development experience using C# .NET, MVC and Web API, jQuery and angular
Ideally, you’ll also have
Maintains a proactive approach to learning about Identity and Access Management aligned components within Information Security (IS) such as Microsoft Identity Management (MIM) and infrastructure such as the Active Directory technical environment, and Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP)
