HR Enablement Talent Input Payroll Specialist

As a member of the HR Enablement team, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate processing of all Talent payroll inputs during payroll runs. You will also play a critical role in closing audit loops by collaborating with stakeholders and driving process improvements.

The opportunity

Being part of HR Enablement, you will be the key POC between TR and Payroll. You will be responsible for managing all Talent payroll inputs shared on a timely basis.

Your key responsibilities

  • Payroll Input Validation and Processing - Working with various internal teams to consolidate, validate and confirm Talent payroll input especially for monthly variable components, supplementary pay, and release pay cycles
  • Error Tracking and Resolution - Manage error trackers for payroll inputs, identifying issues such as incorrect international worker status, duplicate inputs, and late resignations. Participates in clarification process with HRE and TR teams, while providing supporting analysis
  • Audit and Compliance Support- Participate in payroll automation, including UAT reviews and template finalizations. Involved in defining business rules for automated payroll processing and contributing to validation and exception handling.
  • Employee Query Management: Provide timely and comprehensive responses to employee/Talent queries related to payroll inputs.
  • Write to Waiver Process Management - Oversee the Write to Waiver process for GDS India.
  • Process Standardization & Efficiency - Support the standardization of Talent payroll activities and drive overall operational efficiency.
  • Control Implementation- Support in implementation of new processes/controls to mitigate any control gaps

Skills and attributes for success

  • Strong knowledge of payroll operations
  • In-depth professional experience, 6 yrs in a similar role preferably in the corporate Finance (Payroll) function of a Shared Services
  • MS Office Skills i.e. strong Excel Knowledge
  • Highly analytic and keen sense for details and data accuracy
  • Ownership mindset with a drive to close tasks effectively
  • Excellent problem solving and decision-making skills
  • Well-developed collaboration, presentation and influencing skills
  • Structured communication skills and a professional presence

To qualify for the role, you must have

  • 5-6 years relevant experience in HR Payroll
  • Knowledge of HR processes and HR technology
  • In-depth knowledge of payroll operations
  • Experience in meeting demanding time frames

Ideally, you’ll also have

  • Immense knowledge of payroll process
  • Knowledge of working with multiple stakeholders
  • Experience of working with virtual teams
