The opportunity

The GDS SAP PartnerEdge Operations Specialist will function out of the GDS Alliances Delivery Center and will be responsible for providing ongoing support for SAP Alliance activities. The role will be responsible for leading the and supporting new customer opportunities across SAP PartnerEdge operations and driving usage/adoption across multiple EY Service Lines, Functions, and Geographies by establishing globally consistent processes, tools and governance which not only enable growth, but also mitigate risk.

 

Your key responsibilities

  • Ability to oversee seamless service delivery of the GDS SAP PartnerEdge Operations team
  • Ownership of process compliance - Data validation, maintaining internal controls compliance to meet Internal and External Audit requirements
  • Generic mailbox management – proactively assign emails and respond in a timely manner.
  • Support customer eligibility checks, reviewing and submitting deals in SAP Partner Portal
  • Drive internal workflow tool usage across multiple users/teams
  • In charge of operations activities workload distribution and management. Handle SAP Partner portal management activities performed by the operations team
  • Drive timely and accurate claim submissions on SAP Parter portal.
  • Manage onshore stakeholder expectations, plans and communication
  • Ensure process manuals and guidance documentation are systematically reviewed and refreshed, facilitate and track access to these materials in Sharepoint and other tools.
  • Prepare and maintaining Program dashboards and presentation of SAP Alliance reports

  • Manage complex relationships with multiple stakeholders often with competing priorities
  • Use judgement to determine when to escalate issues to Global Alliances Investments Leader or other stakeholders
  • Identify potential risks, articulate, document, and flag the risks to appropriate stakeholders

 

Skills and attributes for success

  • Demonstrated ability to engage with senior stakeholders onshore and work with them to build an efficient and effective service delivery model
  • Strong written and presentational skills. Excellent communication skills (English) – written and oral, strong business writing skills is essential, with the ability to create content independently with limited initial input or guidance.
  • Should have exposure to Project administration and to have carried out administrative duties such as documentation, meeting management, flagging off issues in timely manner and using time management skills to keep actions items on track
  • Should have some exposure to planning and budgeting exercise, practical knowledge of working with large budgets which include budget preparation, administration, control and reporting
  • Experience in working with Finance systems, preferably in SAP environment
  • Should be familiar with data representation and interpretation
  • Cultural intelligence and a global mindset:  the ability to effectively work across-borders with different styles, cultures, languages, time zones etc.

Technologies and Tools

  • SAP background and portal management knowledge/skills
  • MS Office skills: Advanced level experience in Excel reporting and PowerPoint
  • Excel — Pivot tables, look ups, filtering, conditional formatting, validation
  • PPT — insert graphs or shapes, alignment, text justification, text margins
  • Excellent data handling skills
  • Familiarity with maintenance of SharePoint sites
  • Knowledge of using data visualization tools like Power BI, Tableau

 

Educational qualification

  • Postgraduate preferably MBA (Finance)
  • Bachelor’s degree in commerce (or Business Management, Administration)

 

Experience

  • 12 to 14 years with at least 8 -10 years of experience in managing service delivery in an offshore environment
