Job Title: Senior Associate - Reporting and Data Analytics

Department: Reporting and Data Analytics

We provide reporting solutions/requirements through markets and operations reporting along with cyclical and critical controlling processes such as Revenue Planning, Markets Leadership Planning to help you take better business decisions.

Lead the preparation of comprehensive financial and management reports, providing detailed analysis on financial performance. Conduct in-depth variance analysis to identify discrepancies between actuals and forecasts, helping stakeholders understand the reasons behind financial variances. Perform competitor analysis to benchmark the company’s performance against key players in the industry, offering insights into market positioning and strategic opportunities.

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and analytical Reporting & Analytics to join EY GDS ES Finance Reporting and Data Analytics team. The ideal candidate will require a strong data analysis and reporting skillset, ability of provide the insights on business results, data interpretation and ability to transform the data to meet the requirement of leadership. Possess a strong background in financial reporting and have experience in developing Power BI dashboards. This role requires a strategic thinker with a knack for problem-solving and the ability to build SQL Quires.

Key Responsibilities:

• Have a strong understanding of financial concepts and conduct in-depth analysis to identify trends, variances, and potential business risks, and present findings to stakeholders.
• Manage large volumes of unstructured, complex financial data, transforming it into coherent, easy-to-understand formats that support decision-making
• Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders and team members, ensuring that stakeholders reporting needs are met efficiently and effectively by delegating and prioritizing the deliverables
• Ability of provide the insights on business to stakeholders and play role in decision making of leadership
• Perform data Analyses and provide solution or resolving the query raised by users
• Experience in analysis the report, data interpretation and ability to transform the data to meet the requirement of leadership for their decision making in excel or Power BI
• Create financial dashboards using Power BI by transforming raw data into cohesive, valuable reports capturing meaningful business insights.
• Experience in analysis the report, data interpretation and ability to transform the data to meet the requirement of leadership for their decision making in excel or Power BI
• Design, build and maintain SQL queries data extraction, transformation, loading (ETL) processes, and read/decode/interpret SQL queries for reporting and analysis.
• Work closely with Global stakeholders to understand their needs and deliver high-quality reports and visualizations that meet their expectations.
• Ensure accuracy, integrity and security of financial data by conducting regular reviews, data validation and troubleshooting, and maintaining detailed documentation.
• Stay up to date with industry trends and advancements in reporting and analytics tools and techniques
• Experience in planning, budgeting and projection techniques

Requirements:

• • Proficiency in MS Excel (Advance functions, formulas, Pivot, Charts, etc.)
  • Strong experience with ETL processes through Power Query
  • Experience in developing and optimizing Power BI solutions
  • Basic to intermediate knowledge on DAX calculations
  • Strong understanding of Power BI Services.
  • Proficiency in building/reading/editing SQL query

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in finance, Data analytics, computer science, information science or related fields.
• 3 to 7 years of experience in financial reporting, Data analytics, ability to understand the data and interpret , experience in building as a Power BI reports.
• Proven analytical, Data analytics skills, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities
• Detail-oriented with an unwavering commitment to accuracy and quality.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
