The opportunity
The Business Analysis (BA) team is seeking a highly skilled Finance Advisor to support the EY Global Delivery Services (GDS) organization. As one of the four core functions within the EY FP&A team, the BA function plays a critical role in delivering financial insights and operational support.
In this position, you will provide key support to the UKI FP&A CBS team across areas including Recharges & Allocations, financial reporting, and ad hoc analysis. You will collaborate closely with colleagues across the UKI Finance FP&A team, both within GDS and the UKI region.
This role requires building strong, trusted relationships with stakeholders by understanding their priorities and partnering with Finance team members to deliver high‑quality analytical support, subject‑matter expertise, and effective reporting solutions.
Your key responsibilities
- Coordinate and execute key Recharges & Allocations activities with accuracy and timeliness.
- Prepare and deliver essential Recharges & Allocations reports to support financial operations.
- Produce standard financial reports—such as Financial Statements, Functional Cost Reports, and KPI Reports—using My Business or Adhoc Cube Member, ensuring consistent reporting across Area, Region, and Service Line levels.
- Establish and maintain effective review mechanisms to ensure accuracy and completeness of all relevant reports.
- Identify, investigate, and resolve process and reporting issues, recommending improvements where appropriate.
- Support the FP&A team with financial analysis, journal entries, forecasting, and budgeting activities.
- Respond promptly and effectively to ad hoc requests from stakeholders, ensuring high‑quality service delivery.
- Proactively contributes to enhancing the Finance team’s visibility within the organization and engage in ongoing professional development.

- Advanced proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
To qualify for the role, you must have
- Graduate and/or professional certification in a business-related subject matter (i.e. Accounting, Finance)
- Approximately 1-3 years of experience in a related accounting or analysis function
- Good spoken and written English
