Role Overview:

As a Design Associate, you will support the creation of visually compelling and strategically aligned experiences for clients. You will work closely with senior designers and facilitators to conceptualize, design, and deliver immersive sessions that combine creativity, technology, and business insights.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in designing visual assets for wavespace and Design Theatre workshops, including storyboards, templates, and presentation materials.
• Apply design fundamentals such as color theory, composition, typography, and form to create impactful visuals.
• Support the development of storytelling frameworks and immersive narratives for client experiences.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design outputs align with client objectives and EY standards.
• Learn and apply design thinking principles in real-time workshop settings.
• Contribute to prototyping and ideation sessions using tools like Miro (training will be provided).

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Design, Visual Communication, or related field from a recognized design school.
• Design Fundamentals: Strong understanding of color theory, composition, typography, form, and storyboarding.
• Software Proficiency:
  • Good grasp of Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign).
  • Familiarity with Figma or similar tools is a plus.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to articulate design concepts clearly.
• Mindset: High enthusiasm to learn, adapt, and contribute in a fast-paced environment.
• Collaboration: Ability to work effectively in team settings and take feedback constructively.

Preferred Attributes:

• Exposure to design thinking or human-centered design methodologies.
• Basic knowledge of motion graphics or video editing (optional).
• Portfolio showcasing academic or freelance projects demonstrating creativity and design fundamentals.
