About EY GDS MENA Design Theatre
Design Theatre is where innovation, collaboration, and design thinking meet. We create immersive experiences—both virtual and in-person—that bring the right people together to solve complex business challenges.
The Opportunity
We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Visual Designer who can manage the entire design production process—from concept to final delivery. This includes planning, mood boarding, visual design, and video editing. You will collaborate with multiple teams in the MENA region and ensure all outputs align with EY brand guidelines, the client's brand guidelines and project objectives while staying ahead of industry trends.
Your Responsibilities
- As a (Visual) Experience Designer, you will be involved in the development process every step of the way – from conceptualization to execution.
- You will work closely with engagement teams and collaborate with the experience management, tech, and research teams to develop the necessary design assets.
- Depending on the project brief, you will work on tasks like concept development, mood-boarding, visual design, print work, videos, PowerPoint presentations, and interactive whiteboards among others.
- You must take ownership of the tasks assigned to you and bring in your unique design mindset to elevate the experiences we create for our clients while managing time effectively to deliver high-quality outputs within deadlines
- Bring fresh ideas for customer experience (CX) and execute them using the right tools, technologies, and design mindset.
Our Requirements
- The role is multi-faceted and requires you to be adaptable.
- You must have a solid understanding of the fundamentals of colour theory, composition, typography, visual narratives and storytelling.
- The cross-functional nature of our team requires effectiveness with both verbal and visual articulation. You must have excellent listening, comprehension and communication skills.
- You should be up to date with industry trends in the art, design, media and tech spaces.
- Proficiency in the following industry standard applications is required:
- Design and Illustration Tools – Illustrator, Photoshop
- Video and Motion Design Tools – Premiere Pro, After Effects
- Prototyping Tools – Figma and/or Adobe XD
- Microsoft Office Applications – MS PowerPoint, MS Excel, MS Word
- Online Whiteboarding Tools – Miro and Mural
Good to Have
- 2+ years industry experience in the relevant field, in a reputed firm.
- A degree in design, with the help of supporting documents, would be preferred.
- You should be passionate about, and have hands on experience in, interactive technology and immersive media.
- Lastly, what makes teams like Design Theatre unique is the surprising versatility of its members. Your interests outside of work - be it writing, history, gaming, acting, photography or anything else could be more valuable than you realise.
Why Join Us?
You’ll be part of a team that thrives on creativity and innovation, working on projects that push boundaries and deliver exceptional client experiences.
