EY-Data and  Analytics – Consulting – Semarchy MDM Solution Architect

As part of our EY- Data & Analytics team, you will help clients in developing and implementing data analyses, data collection systems and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality. Working with latest tools available in the market you will help clients by acquiring data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases/data systems and help to identify, analyse, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets.

Using your expertise in data analytics you will help our clients to view data in context and make smarter business decisions to achieve improved products and services.

The opportunity

As a Semarchy MDM Solution Architect, you will be responsible for designing and implementing robust master data management solutions using Semarchy's MDM platform. You will work closely with business stakeholders, data governance teams, and IT professionals to ensure that the organization's master data is accurately managed, integrated, and utilized to support business objectives.

Your key responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of Semarchy MDM solutions to meet business requirements and objectives.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their data management needs and translate them into technical specifications.
• Define and enforce data governance policies and standards in line with Semarchy MDM capabilities.
• Configure and customize Semarchy MDM applications to fit the organization's data management processes.
• Provide technical leadership in data integration, data quality, and data architecture strategies using Semarchy MDM.
• Conduct training sessions and workshops for end-users and technical teams on Semarchy MDM functionalities and best practices.
• Monitor and optimize the performance of Semarchy MDM solutions to ensure scalability and reliability.
• Stay updated with the latest Semarchy MDM features and industry trends in master data management.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a solution architect or a similar role in master data management projects, with a strong preference for experience with Semarchy MDM.
• Strong understanding of data governance, data quality, and data integration principles.
• Proficient in SQL and experience with database management systems.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to design and implement innovative solutions.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Familiarity with cloud computing environments (e.g., AWS, Azure) is a plus.

To qualify for the role, you must have

• BE/BTech/MCA/MBA with adequate industry experience
• Should be at least around 3 - 7 years of experience in Enterprise intelligence
• Strong SQL skills
• Should have completed at least 3 full life cycle experience in MDM/DG project using any tools like Informatica
• Strong on SQL and experience in Informatica MDM/DG
• Must have hands-on experience across the various phases of a typical DQM solution - data profiling, data integration, validation, cleansing, standardization, matching, consolidation etc.
• Should have understanding and experience of software development best practices
• Excellent business communication, Consulting, Quality process skills
• Understand and assess the Source to target map documents and provide the recommendations if any
• Manage Enhancement on Informatica MDM/Oracle/SQL server coding skills
• Data modelling skills
• Understand the source & downstream requirements before working on enhancements
• Code, test, implement and maintain medium to highly complex ETL MDM code and scripts to build and maintain automated processes
• Good exposure to SQL, Informatica MDM, DG

Ideally, you’ll also have

• Project management skills
• Familiar with Agile project delivery.
• Exposure to cloud technologies such as Azure, AWS is preferred.
