Job Summary

Enterprise Technology is a global organization that delivers reliable, secure and resilient technology services and solutions to enable an exceptional technology experience for EY people. As part of the Enterprise Technology Risk & Compliance (ETRC) team, the Policy & Standards Analyst will support the policy and standards governance and enablement capability. Reporting to the Policy & Standards Enablement Lead, this role will help maintain ET policies, standards and guidance; support alignment with enterprise requirements; and coordinate communications, education, adoption and compliance monitoring activities across the technology landscape.

Responsibilities

The Policy & Standards Analyst will support the day-to-day execution of technology policy, standards and compliance enablement activities under the direction of the Policy & Standards Enablement Lead.

Key responsibilities include

• Support the ET policy and standards governance process, including document maintenance, review cycles, approvals, publication and governance reporting.
• Coordinate with Information Security, Risk Management, Legal, Privacy and Service Quality Management stakeholders to support alignment of ET policies and standards with enterprise requirements.
• Research and summarize emerging regulatory, compliance and risk requirements and support the development of technology guidance, standards and implementation materials.
• Develop and coordinate policy communications, education, awareness and adoption activities across ET.
• Respond to stakeholder questions and support the Lead in providing guidance on policy interpretation, standards implementation and compliance obligations.
• Work with ET Risk & Controls Governance and ET Assurance & Compliance teams to help map policies and standards to relevant controls and compliance activities.
• Support policy and standards enablement for strategic initiatives, including AI-related programs, emerging technology adoption and enterprise transformation efforts.
• Maintain implementation and compliance trackers, identify gaps and trends, and support follow-up, escalation and continuous improvement activities.

Analytical / Decision-Making Responsibilities

The role applies analytical and problem-solving skills to research policy and regulatory requirements, assess their practical impact and identify potential gaps or inconsistencies. The individual will organize and synthesize information, prioritize assigned activities and escalate issues appropriately, while working with stakeholders to support consistent implementation across ET.

Knowledge and Skills Requirements

The role requires a solid understanding of technology governance, policy and standards management, compliance frameworks and risk management practices. The successful candidate will be able to translate complex requirements into clear communications and practical enablement materials, supported by strong organization, collaboration, attention to detail and written communication skills.

Job Requirements

To qualify, candidates must have

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business, Risk Management, Cybersecurity or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in technology governance, compliance, risk management, information security, audit, policy management or a related field.
• Experience supporting the development, maintenance or implementation of policies, standards, procedures or governance frameworks.
• Experience coordinating activities across technology, information security, privacy, legal, risk management or audit stakeholders.
• Strong organizational and project coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain accurate documentation and trackers.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and the ability to research and summarize complex requirements.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to produce clear guidance, communications and presentation materials.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Power BI and collaboration platforms.
• Experience with policy enablement, regulatory change, AI governance, privacy, cybersecurity or enterprise risk management programs is a plus.
• Professional certifications such as CRISC, CISA, CISM, PMP or similar are a plus.
