Job Summary
Enterprise Technology is a global organization that delivers reliable, secure and resilient technology services and solutions to enable an exceptional technology experience for EY people. As part of the Enterprise Technology Risk & Compliance (ETRC) team, the Operations & Reporting Analyst will support the operational management, reporting, administration and tooling activities that enable the Risk & Controls Governance function. Reporting to the Risk & Controls Governance Lead, this role is responsible for maintaining governance records, developing reporting and analytics capabilities, administering governance tools and repositories, coordinating operational processes, and supporting audit and compliance activities across the organization.
The role serves as a central point of coordination for governance operations, reporting, data management, audit administration and platform support, helping ensure consistent and efficient execution of ETRC governance processes.
Responsibilities
The Operations & Reporting Analyst will support the day-to-day operation of the Risk & Controls Governance function and enable effective reporting, administration, tooling and governance processes.
Key responsibilities include:
- Design and maintain team planning calendars.
- Establish and maintain governance intake processes
- Develop and maintain control and audit dashboards to support leadership oversight and decision-making.
- Prepare recurring leadership reports, governance updates and management presentations.
- Monitor, consolidate and report key performance indicators (KPIs) and key risk indicators (KRIs).
- Track audit observations, management actions and remediation activities and provide status reporting to stakeholders.
- Produce reporting on control execution activities, certifications, attestations and governance program performance.
- Develop ad hoc reports, analytical outputs and trend analysis to support management decisions.
Tools, Platforms & Process Support
- Design and maintain governance calendars supporting control execution, certification and compliance activities.
- Administer and maintain governance tools, including the RACM platform and supporting repositories.
- Implement approved RACM updates, enhancements and configuration changes in coordination with Governance team requirements.
- Design, develop and maintain Compliance SharePoint sites, document libraries and collaboration workspaces.
- Administer Planner boards, Teams channels and governance collaboration tools.
- Execute approved control additions, updates and removals within governance tools and records.
- Maintain audit evidence repositories and supporting document retention structures.
- Support workflow automation initiatives and continuous process improvement activities.
- Design and maintain project repositories, governance tracking tools and supporting operational documentation.
Data & Records Management
- Maintain governance records, including application inventories, control ownership, attestation, certification and audit documentation.
- Maintain stakeholder directories, distribution lists and governance contact information.
- Support governance data quality reviews, record validation and documentation maintenance.
Vendor & Financial Administration
- Coordinate vendor administration activities, including Statements of Work (SOWs), renewals and third-party engagements.
- Support budget administration, expenditure tracking and financial reporting for the Governance function.
Knowledge and Skills Requirements
The role requires a strong understanding of governance operations, reporting processes, compliance administration and data management practices. The successful candidate will be able to organize large volumes of information, develop meaningful reporting and dashboards, administer governance tools and repositories, and coordinate activities across multiple stakeholder groups. Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, reporting capabilities, stakeholder management and written communication skills are essential.
Job Requirements
To qualify, candidates must have
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Information Management, Data Analytics, Accounting, Risk Management or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in reporting, governance operations, compliance administration, audit coordination, PMO support or a related field.
- Experience developing management reporting, dashboards and KPI/KRI metrics.
- Experience maintaining governance records, inventories and compliance documentation.
- Experience administering SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, Planner and Microsoft 365 collaboration platforms.
- Experience supporting audits, governance programs or compliance initiatives.
- Strong data analysis, reporting and organizational skills.
- Strong project coordination and stakeholder management capabilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience with Power BI, ServiceNow, workflow platforms or governance tools is preferred.
