Job Summary

 

 

Essential Functions of the Job  

 

We are looking for an Associate – VBA Programming, Power BI & Project Support to assist in developing automation solutions, business reporting, and day-to-day client project activities. In this role, you will collaborate with business stakeholders and data teams to translate client requirements into solutions using Excel VBA, Outlook Macros, Power BI dashboards, and reporting tools. You will be responsible for handling client queries, managing ad-hoc reporting requests, scheduling reports, and maintaining data accuracy across systems. This role also involves exposure to Power Platform tools (Power Automate, Canvas Apps, SharePoint), project coordination, and client interaction. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn new technologies

 

  • Develop and maintain Excel VBA Macros for Excel and Outlook automation.
  • Build and enhance Power BI dashboards using DAX, M language, and advanced query editor with multiple data sources (SQL, SharePoint, Excel Online, etc.).
  • Schedule and manage Power BI report refreshes and distribution.
  • Understand client systems, tools, and processes to upload, manage, and validate raw data.
  • Handle Outlook mailbox queries and provide timely responses to clients.
  • Support day-to-day project management activities, tracking requirements, and ensuring deliverables are on time.
  • Manage ad-hoc reporting requests in Power BI and other client systems.
  • Collaborate with client & team members to understand business requirements and translate them into reporting or automation solutions.
  • Support SharePoint development and repository updates (lists, document libraries, metadata modifications).
  • Build simple Canvas Apps and beginner-level Power Automate flows to automate repetitive tasks.
  • Demonstrate strong communication skills for client handling through email, reporting, and meetings.
  • Proactively learn new tools within the Microsoft Power Platform ecosystem and apply them in projects.

 

 

Technical skills/tools requirement      

 

 

Essential       

  

  • Power BI, SharePoint, Excel VBA, PBI Advanced query editor, M365 Tools,

 

 

Desirable 

 

  • Ability to extend Power BI with Power Apps visual or embedded solutions.
  • Basic knowledge of COE toolkit, Power Platform ALM and environment management.
  • Exposure to Dataverse and understanding of relational data modelling.
  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in a related field
  • Knowledge and Skills Requirements

 

 

Desired Skillset:

 

  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies like AI Builder, Copilot Studio, Power Platform Pipelines, and governance frameworks.
  • Capability to transition from VBA/Power BI-focused role into a well-rounded Power Platform developer.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical thinking, and troubleshooting skills across low-code environments.
  • Proficiency in Power BI advanced reporting using DAX, M language, data modelling, and integration of multiple sources (SQL, SharePoint, Excel Online).
