Angular with .NET core developer - Senior Associate

The opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Angular 16 (or above) and .NET Core Developer to join our dynamic team at EY GDS. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in developing web applications using Angular and .NET Core technologies. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software solutions that meet our clients' needs.

Your key responsibilities

Essential Functions of the Job:

• Develop and maintain web applications using Angular 16 (or above) and .NET Core.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
• Troubleshoot and debug applications to optimize performance.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure best practices.
• Participate in Agile development processes, including sprint planning and retrospectives.

Analytical/Decision Making Responsibilities:

• Sound analytical and problem-solving skills are required to manage multiple technical challenges from multiple services and projects simultaneously
• Take ownership of the tasks assigned
• Provide insights in designing
• Evaluate recommendations provided for service improvements, with the ability to identify any gaps or alternate solutions.
• Able to deliver engineering work independently or in (virtual) team globally.

Skills and attributes for success

Knowledge and Skills Requirements:

Essential

• Demonstrable experience in supporting Live/Post-Production systems.
• C# language proficiency
• Angular experience
• .NET core REST API experience
• Ability to write SQL queries

Beneficial

• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS).
• Knowledge of containerization technologies (e.g., Docker).
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.

Supervision Responsibilities:

• No direct supervision responsibilities for this role

Other Requirements:

• Candidate must be flexible to the demands of the services we provide and any project to which they are assigned.
• The role may require out of office hours work.
• Hybrid: 2 days in office, 3 days remote (REMI)

Job Requirements:

Education:

• Post-secondary education in Broadcast or IT Technology / Computer Sciences

Experience:

• At least 5 to 8 years experience in web development using Angular and .NET
• Knowledge of SQL
