The opportunity
We are looking for a Senior Associate to join our Data Management Support team within the Clients & Industries organization. This role is pivotal in delivering consistent internal and external data management and governance processes, ensuring data is accurate, accessible, secure, and aligned with our Digital Engagement strategy and business objectives.
Your key responsibilities
- Support and contribute to the governance and execution of Clients & Industries related system changes (e.g., MDM, GIS) and external data sources (e.g., Factiva, S&P CapIQ).
- Define the details of data management and operations-related processes and solutions.
- Contribute to key data-related activities, including data management/validation, data quality, keyword/topic curation, data cleansing, and GDS process management for data across all tools.
- Manage vendor relationships for external data sources.
- Proactively understand current and relevant market research and trends, evolving capabilities, and bring innovation to EY's data needs.
- Ensure effective teaming through inclusive and trusted leadership and coaching at all levels to help all Reporting Team members achieve their highest potential.
Skills and attributes for success
- Experience supporting and delivering data management and governance programs across a global matrix organization.
- Ability to articulate and position data management and governance issues and activities in the context of the Function’s business issues and strategic priorities.
- Strong project management skills and the ability to analyze problems and deliver pragmatic solutions.
- A global mindset and the ability to communicate and work effectively across cultures.
- Resilient, agile, and pragmatic under pressure.
What we look for
- Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent qualification required.
- 3 - 5 years of experience in data management, data contracts, data quality, and data governance.
- Ability to convert data (e.g., budget, performance, sales, and pipeline) or abstract concepts into sharp, compelling Management Information materials.
- Flexibility in working hours to accommodate the volume of work and multiple time zones as needed.
- Willingness to travel as required to complete assignments and meet with organizational leaders and stakeholders.
