We’re looking for a Program Manager at EY GDS. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a leading firm whilst being instrumental in the growth of a new service offering. EY Digital Engineering is a unique, industry-focused business unit that provides a broad range of integrated services that leverage deep industry experience with strong functional capability and product knowledge. The Digital Engineering (DE) practice works with clients to analyse, formulate, design, mobilize and drive digital transformation initiatives. We advise clients on their most pressing digital challenges and opportunities surround business strategy, customer, growth, profit optimization, innovation, technology strategy, and digital transformation.  We also have a unique ability to help our clients translate strategy into actionable technical design, and transformation planning/mobilization.  Through our unique combination of competencies and solutions, EY’s DE team helps our clients sustain competitive advantage and profitability by developing strategies to stay ahead of the rapid pace of change and disruption and supporting the execution of complex transformations.

Your key responsibilities

• Establish clear goals, deliverables, and success criteria aligned with business strategy.
• Develop program plans, timelines, and resource allocation; ensure on-time delivery.
• Act as the primary liaison between leadership, clients, and cross-functional teams; provide regular updates.
• Develop a comprehensive migration plan that includes timelines, costs, and resource allocation.
• Manage program budgets, track costs, and ensure financial compliance.
• Design and work with Solution architect to create the target environment in Azure, ensuring it meets the organization's requirements for performance, security, scalability, and reliability.
• Define the migration strategy, whether it be rehosting (lift-and-shift), refactoring, rearchitecting, or rebuilding.
• Develop and implement migration processes and methodologies.

Skills and attributes for success

Required Skills:

• Establish governance frameworks and ensure adherence to organizational policies and standards.
• Knowledge of different cloud deployment strategies such as public, private, and hybrid clouds.
• Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders across multiple projects.
• Align multiple projects under the program, resolve interdependencies, and remove blockers.
• Experience in Microsoft Azure's ecosystem is required, encompassing services and architecture related to Azure Compute, Storage, Networking, Databases, and Monitoring.
• Experience with Azure Migrate is essential for the evaluation and transition of workloads.
• Familiarity with Azure Site Recovery is important for managing disaster recovery plans.
• Identify potential risks and issues early and develop mitigation strategies.
• Good to have knowledge of third-party migration solutions like CloudEndure, Zerto, or Turbonomic. 
• Understanding of DevOps methodologies and experience with continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) pipelines using Azure DevOps or other CI/CD platforms like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions is also valuable
• Collaboration: Strong teamwork and communication skills with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certifications: Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert or similar certifications.
• Experience: At least 15 Years of experience in an application engineering role with a focus on Azure technologies.
• Agile Methodologies: Familiarity with Agile development practices and methodologies.
• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues.

Education:

• Degree: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
