The opportunity
The Brand, Marketing and Communications (BMC) Technical Writer and Trainer – MarCom Products leads the creation, maintenance, and delivery of high-quality technical documentation and training for all MarCom-supported products and platforms. This role ensures that diverse audiences have access to clear, accurate, and up-to-date resources, enabling successful adoption and ongoing use of MarCom platforms. By collaborating with cross-functional teams, this position drives content excellence, knowledge enablement, and strategic communication, supporting business transformation, product launches, and brand initiatives.
Your key responsibilities
In this role, you will drive training and documentation excellence across the organization and collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business transformation by:
- Lead Strategic Content Development: Develop, review, and continuously improve user guides, knowledge base articles, process documentation, and training materials for all MarCom-supported products, platforms, and campaigns. Ensure content aligns with brand voice, messaging, and strategic objectives.
- Design & Deliver Engaging Training: Create and facilitate training programs (virtual, in-person, and self-paced) for onboarding, upskilling, and product launches. Tailor learning experiences to marketing, communications, and business audiences, focusing on driving adoption and engagement.
- Collaborate for Impact: Partner with product managers, subject matter experts, and MarCom teams to ensure documentation and training reflect the latest features, updates, and best practices. Support campaign launches and strategic initiatives with clear, audience-centric content.
- Establish Content Standards & Governance: Develop and maintain documentation standards, templates, and governance processes to ensure consistency, accuracy, and compliance with organizational and brand policies.
- Analyze & Optimize Learning: Use feedback and usage data to identify gaps in knowledge and proactively address business needs. Continuously refining content and training approaches to maximize impact and user experience.
- Oversee Content Lifecycle: Manage version control, archiving, and timely retirement of obsolete materials, ensuring all documentation remains relevant and strategically aligned.
- Facilitate Knowledge Sharing: Coordinate regular workshops, knowledge-sharing sessions, and Q&A forums to foster a culture of continuous learning and collaboration within MarCom and across business units.
- Support Change Management: Develop communication plans and resources that drive user adoption of new MarCom initiatives, minimize resistance, and reinforce strategic priorities.

- Expertise in technical writing, instructional design, and adult learning principles—applied in a marketing communications context.
- Strategic mindset with the ability to translate complex information into clear, persuasive, and brand-aligned content.
- Strong project management skills; able to deliver high-quality outputs within tight deadlines and shifting priorities.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills—able to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels, both technical and non-technical.
- Proficiency with documentation tools (e.g., Confluence, SharePoint, MS Word), e-learning platforms, and multimedia content creation.
- Ability to synthesize technical and marketing information into user-friendly, audience-centric content.
- Collaborative team player, comfortable working in virtual, cross-functional, and global environments.
- Analytical approach focused on continuous improvement, user experience, and strategic business outcomes.
- Adaptability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced, and agile MarCom environment.
To qualify for the role, you must have:
- 3+ years of experience in technical documentation, training, or enablement roles.
- Demonstrated success in designing and delivering training programs for technology products or platforms.
- Strong knowledge of documentation standards, version control, and content management systems.
- Experience collaborating with product, engineering, and support teams in a global organization.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver results under pressure.
- Excellent written and verbal English language communication with stakeholders across geographies.
Ideally, you’ll also have:
- Experience with video production, e-learning authoring tools, and interactive training content.
- Experience working with highly diverse and geographically dispersed teams
- An outgoing personality and a great sense of humor
