Social Media Product Associate – Associate
The opportunity
The position is for a Social Media Product Associate within EY Global Delivery Services. The candidate will support EY BMC teams and work closely with marketers and other stakeholders to manage social media platforms and tools. The ideal candidate should have experience with social media management tools like Hootsuite and business managers such as Meta Business Suite.
This role requires a detail-oriented individual capable of following complex processes. The candidate will support projects and processes such as social media audits, ad account reviews, and password management. They should be motivated, resourceful, and committed to the success of our social media initiatives. The candidate will collaborate with global and local teams, and be aware of cross-cultural sensitivities. They are expected to learn quickly and stay updated on social media platform changes and best practices.
Your key responsibilities
- Assist with the review and update of social media account lists and contacts
- Manage passwords and security protocols for all social media accounts
- Support social media management projects, including Hootsuite paid media onboarding, ensuring accuracy and efficiency
- Oversee the onboarding of new social media profiles and manage existing accounts
- Aid the product manager in drafting processes and training materials
- Provide social media account owners with access to relevant resources
- Stay informed about the latest social media tools and technologies
- Ensure all profiles are correctly set up and comply with guidelines
- Proactively identify potential challenges and propose solutions
- Build and maintain effective relationships with peer groups and key internal stakeholders
- Adhere to EY's quality standards and procedures, including verbal and branding guidelines
Skills and attributes for success
- A bachelor's degree
- 3-5 years of experience in social media management
- Experience in management of Hootsuite and/or Talkwalker
- Proficient in use of tools such as Meta Business Suite
- Proficient with social media platforms and employee advocacy tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Haiilo)
- Strong understanding of social media management best practices
- Strong organizational skills
- High attention to detail
- Ability to support multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new tools and technologies as needed
- Good problem-solving abilities to address challenges related to account management
- Strong communication skills
- Up-to-date understanding of major social media networks (Facebook, X, LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok)
- Interest in social media, including trends, analytics and/or listening
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
- Experience in coordination, stakeholder management and project management
- A team player
To qualify for the role, you must have
- Social media management experience
- Experience in working within a B2B brand
- Ability to work as part of an agile team, demonstrating independence and flexibility
- Ability to think critically, analyze information, and make actionable recommendations
- Meticulous attention to detail and strong project management skills
- Commitment to continuous learning
Ideally, you’ll also have
- Track record in management for Hootsuite, Talkwalker
- Track record in management for Meta Business Suite, LinkedIn Business Manager
- Strong US English writing skills
- Experience in account management and customer service
