Communications & Engagement Manager – Global Corporate Responsibility (BMC)
The opportunity
The role will work closely with Global Corporate Responsibility stakeholders, team members and the wider BMC team to deliver the EY Ripples communications & engagement strategy. It will sit as part of the Global Business Enablement Communications & Engagement team, and reports to the Global Corporate Responsibility Communications & Engagement Leader.

Your key responsibilities
- Support the CR Communications and Engagement Leader in crafting and executing the GCR communications strategy, as well as campaigns designed to boost employee awareness and involvement in EY’s Corporate Responsibility goals.
- Independently craft communications strategies for targeted campaigns within the overall GCR communication strategy, working directly with senior stakeholders.
- This involves coordinating all elements of communication plans, developing messages, maintaining and improving channels and creating assets that reflect the global CR ambition and vision, ensuring they effectively reach internal audiences worldwide. At the same time, messages should be adaptable for local input and integration across relevant channels.
- Prepare reports showing the reach and impact of Communication & Engagement initiatives by tracking campaign metrics, assessing engagement success, and recommending improvements.
- For specific campaigns, collaborate independently with stakeholders to shape core messaging and develop supporting assets.
- Create engaging communication content for a range of platforms such as videos, newsletter articles, social media posts, podcasts, webcasts, presentations, and more.
- Work closely with Regional BMC and CR network teams to help deliver dynamic, localized communication campaigns.
Skills and attributes for success
- Experience working in a strategic CE role, ideally including a focus on social impact
- First class writing and editing skills
- Strong influencing skills; confident working with internal stakeholders
- Extensive knowledge and experience of working across EY’s internal channels, eg SharePoint, Viva Engage, Intranet, Marketo etc.
- Knowledge, skills, and experience working successfully in a cross-cultural/geographically dispersed team
- A strategic, collaborative and inclusive mindset
- A demonstrable passion for social impact and sustainability issues
- A solid understanding of the All in strategy and refreshed EY brand program, and what this means for BMC / CE
- A consultative approach, using strategic thinking skills and your ability to take initiative and willingness to adapt, influence, and challenge
- An eye for detail and with a commitment to quality
- Have a high interest in using AI and agents to drive forward the communications agenda—bringing fresh thinking, ingenuity, and innovation to our communications.
To qualify for the role, you must have
- 10+ years CE experience in a similar role
- Bachelor or masters degree
- Demonstrable experience creating internal communications strategies and managing internal campaigns
- Excellent writing ability and experience in various forms of writing, including strong editing and proofreading skills
- Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills; strong presentation skills
- The business acumen to understand the leadership strategy and translate it into deliverables
