The opportunity

The Search Engine Optimization Specialist will be responsible for handling day-to-day SEO tasks, work directly with service lines and sector stakeholders and act as the first point of contact for basic client or task-related SEO questions for our website, ey.com. He/she will be helping to be build and optimize content that enhances our brand, serves users and drives organic traffic. 

 

Your key responsibilities

  • Managing SEO project for multiple entities within organization
  • Monthly reporting and stakeholders’ communication
  • Developing SEO optimization strategies and monitoring their execution
  • People management
  • Measuring organic traffic, KW and Page Rank performance via Conductor and Adobe Analytics for an ongoing basis and communicate progress and insights/recommendations to stakeholders
  • Collaboration & communication with external team for task such as, content, creative, YouTube to achieve SEO goals on time
  • Reviewing and presenting SEO audits, issues and plan for implementation to stakeholders
  • Training stakeholders on using Conductor, troubleshoot user issues, build workspaces
  • Effective communication and educating stakeholders and team on basic SEO best practices
  • Content audit and recommendation on changes based on search best practices
  • Topics level research, with market analysis and competition

 

Skills and attributes for success

  • Minimum 9 years in SEO support role
  • Minimum 5 years in people management is added advantage
  • Experience with HTML, CSS and Java Script
  • Experience with CMS tools such as AEM, WordPress, HubSpot, Joomla
  • Strong experience working with SEO and content audit tools, such as Google Search Console, Conductor, MarketMuse, Screaming Frog, Content King, Ahrefs, SEMrush
  • Strong experience in website analytics tool, such as Adobe analytics, Google analytics 4 or other data mining tools
  • Strong communication and analytical skills to analyze large data set
  • Strong knowledge of SEO relating to content strategy development
  • Strong understanding of digital channels and content

 

To qualify for the role, you must have

  • Solid understanding of SEO best practices, including ranking factors, technical SEO, and current SEO trends
  • Understand digital content best practices
  • Effective communications and stakeholder management
  • Demonstrated skills around unique marketing strategies

 

Ideally, you’ll also have

  • Strong communication and influencing skills
  • Strong project and time management ability
  • Strong marketing management orientation

 

Technologies and Tools

  • Experience working with SEO tools, such as Google Search Console, Conductor, MarketMuse, Screaming Frog, Content King, Ahrefs, SEMrush
  • Experience in website analytics tool, such as Adobe analytics, Google analytics 4 or other data mining tools
  • Has an experience with HTML, CSS and Java Script
  • Experience with CMS tools such as AEM, WordPress, HubSpot, Joomla
