The opportunity

The position is for a Social Media Manager/Content Strategist within EY Global Delivery Services. The candidate will be supporting EY BMC teams.

As the Social Media Manager / Content Strategist, you will orchestrate end-to-end social media campaign execution of multi-channel marketing initiatives, collaborating closely with BMC program leaders and managers. By leveraging your proven expertise in social media management and brand & marketing, you will craft and execute strategic campaign plans, oversees timelines and analyse performance metrics. Your role will also involve nurturing relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring all social media campaigns align with our rigorous quality and effectiveness standards.

 

The candidate will be required to manage the creation, design, and publication of content on EY organization’s social media channels. He/she will be required to work very closely with marketers, designers, editors, and other approvers to publish relevant, insightful content. He/she should possess exceptional US English writing skills and experience in creating well-written, insightful content (both copy and visual assets). The candidate should be motivated, resourceful, and able to ensure the content provided is published on time and presented in a way that maximizes reader engagement. The candidate will need to actively engage with the business and BMC to develop and coordinate the content calendar with input from the BMC team that leverages the respective social media handles. The candidate will also stay up to date with both general industry and EY social media trends, visual identity guidelines, and develop campaign metrics reports. The candidate will be working with a global team and should be aware of cross-cultural sensitivities and open to flexible work timings. He/she would be expected to learn quickly and stay up to date on what is happening in the sector they’re assigned.

 

Your key responsibilities

  • Own the end‑to‑end content and community strategy for social media, shaping editorial direction, storytelling, and engagement frameworks across platforms such as LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube, and internal advocacy channels.
  • Develop compelling, audience-centric content for various formats – social media posts, web pages, paid ads, PPTs, PDFs, infographics, and videos – ensuring alignment with EY’s brand voice and business priorities.
  • Lead the planning, creation, and publication of high‑quality content, including social posts, leadership narratives, campaign copy, web content, and multimedia scripts, aligned to EY’s brand voice and business priorities.
  • Manage and curate content calendars, ensuring consistency, relevance, and timely delivery across campaigns and leadership initiatives.
  • Act as the content and community lead for social media campaigns, translating marketing objectives into impactful content and engagement‑led conversations.
  • Own online community management, including monitoring conversations, responding to comments and queries, fostering meaningful interactions, and maintaining a consistent, positive brand presence.
  • Proactively manage reputation and social listening, identifying risks, escalating sensitive issues, and providing insights to stakeholders based on audience sentiment and trends.
  • Shape community‑focused content and discussion themes, driving thought leadership, participation, and trust across priority audiences.
  • Partner closely with BMC, business stakeholders, and GDS teams to co‑create content, align messaging, and ensure editorial quality and compliance.
  • Provide editorial review and governance, ensuring accuracy, tone consistency, and adherence to EY branding and verbal guidelines.
  • Use performance metrics, engagement insights, and community feedback to continuously refine content and community strategies.
  • Support content‑led events and experiences (webinars, podcasts, roundtables) through narrative development, promotion, and post‑event community engagement.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to stakeholders on content best practices, platform behavior, emerging formats, and effective community engagement.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, Global Delivery Services, and external vendors to ensure seamless execution of digital marketing initiatives.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve digital marketing processes, tools, and strategies to enhance efficiency, effectiveness, and innovation.

 

Skills and attributes for success

  • Exceptional communication skills – both written and verbal – with the ability to craft compelling narratives across diverse digital formats and channels.
  • 10+ years of experience in digital marketing strategy, content creation, social media management, paid media, and marketing communications across global platforms.
  • Strong understanding of the digital content ecosystem, including EY.com, SharePoint, employee advocacy platforms, and content repositories, with a focus on producing clear, audience led narratives.
  • Proven ability to plan, write, and refine high quality content across formats such as articles, web pages, social media posts, leadership communications, podcasts, and event assets.
  • Excellent editorial and storytelling skills, translating complex business, finance, and professional services topics into clear, engaging, and credible content for senior audiences.
  • Strong research and analytical capabilities, including competitor analysis, trend identification, and synthesis of insights to inform content strategy and messaging.
  • Experience writing for multiple platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube, newsletters, blogs), with an understanding of tone, format, and audience expectations for each.
  • Ability to collaborate with stakeholders to develop content aligned with business objectives, brand guidelines, and thought leadership priorities.
  • High attention to detail, with strong editing, proofreading, and quality control skills to ensure accuracy, consistency, and clarity.
  • Proficiency in MS Word and PowerPoint for drafting, structuring, and presenting content narratives; working knowledge of analytics to assess content performance.
  • Strong project and time management skills, managing multiple content deliverables while meeting deadlines.
  • Adaptable, feedback driven mindset, comfortable working in fast paced environments and iterating content based on stakeholder input.
  • Research and market intelligence skills, capable of conducting competitor analysis and trend identification to inform strategy and content planning.

 

To qualify for the role, you must have

  • 10+ years of content writing, digital marketing and social media experience
  • Through knowledge about the content pattern and technical acquaintance with various social media sites such as LinkedIn, Twitter, SlideShare, Facebook, Instagram
  • Social media analytics experience
  • Experience in working within a B2B brand
  • Experience with key topics emerging in the consultancy and digital landscape
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Mass Comms, business administration, marketing, or a related field is required.

 

Ideally, you’ll also have

  • Prior experience in B2B Brand & Marketing settings.
  • Track record of event execution, B2B brand exposure, and project management.
  • Familiarity with digital marketing analytics and bridging expectations with capabilities.
  • Project & People management experience
