The opportunity
In the role of Assistant Director: Regional Marketing Manager, your focus will be on developing Marketing Campaign assets. Your primary responsibility will be to craft and implement strategies that empower our teams to effectively introduce our service offerings to the market, engage with customers, and boost revenue growth.
Collaboration with cross-functional teams will be essential to ensure that our Marketing strategy aligns seamlessly with our marketing efforts. Success in this role hinges on your profound understanding of our industry, offerings, and market dynamics, enabling you to create impactful enablement programs.
Your key responsibilities
- Market research
- Conduct comprehensive research on the current market, analyzing competitors, emerging trends, and customer preferences pertinent to EY's global offerings.
- Collect insights on EY's target audience's needs, challenges, and pain points to develop effective client-facing content.
- Continuously monitor industry trends, technological advancements, and market disruptors that may affect the adoption of global offerings.
- Utilize SharePoint and Discover to strategically source the latest collaterals, streamlining the creation of marketing assets.
- Storytelling expertise and content development
- Develop impactful narratives showcasing the benefits of global stakeholders.
- Align storytelling with EY's branding and messaging for consistency.
- Simplify complex technical information for broad stakeholder understanding.
- Present case studies and success stories evidencing the efficacy of EY's offerings.
- Gather and integrate stakeholder feedback to enhance storytelling techniques.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to create content tailored to various customer journey stages.
- Produce diverse marketing materials, including toolkits, client decks, user guides, videos, and e-learning modules.
- Focus on end-user needs, addressing their concerns through targeted content distribution channels like Sharepoint and Discover.
- Collaboration
- Work closely with EY Knowledge (EYK) teams to gather valuable case studies and market insights to enhance the effectiveness of marketing assets.
- Engage with stakeholders to seek approval and alignment on content strategies, ensuring they resonate with business objectives and goals.
- Partner with BMC teams to ensure consistent branding elements are incorporated into marketing materials.
- Stakeholder and project Management
- Develop comprehensive project plans that outline scope, objectives, timelines, and resource requirements for marketing assets creation.
- Identify potential risks and uncertainties associated with projects and create mitigation strategies (with PMO) to address them.
- Establish and enforce quality control processes to maintain high standards throughout the project lifecycle.
- Develop a clear and effective communication plan to keep all project stakeholders informed of progress, changes, and key decisions.
- Relationship management and influencing:
- Manage a team of marketing professionals, providing guidance, mentoring, and support to drive high-performance and collaboration.
- Drive the development of compelling content and narratives that effectively communicate the value proposition of EY's regional stakeholders.
- Monitor the effectiveness of marketing efforts through key performance indicators (KPIs) and stakeholder feedback, making data-driven adjustments as necessary to maximize impact.
- Stay informed about industry trends, market dynamics, and emerging technologies to adapt marketing strategies accordingly and drive innovation.
- Develop and maintain a clear communication plan to keep all project stakeholders informed of progress, changes, and key decisions related to marketing.

To qualify for the role, you must have
- University/Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience preferred.
- 12 -15 years of total B2B marketing experience in professional services or similar industries
- 10 years’ experience in end-to-end Marketing campaign management via multiple channels, from managing business requirement to implementation to analysis and all phases in between.
- Proficient in robust market research and skilled in effective writing techniques.
- A proven record of supporting complex, multi-year services for leading clients.
- Demonstrate success in building internal and external relationships at a senior level, and ability to constructively challenge stakeholders to open new ways of working.
- Excellent project management skills, proven team building and interpersonal communication and writing skills.
- Strong working knowledge of a professional services organization.
- Executive presence, strong leadership skills and the ability to influence others.
- Expected percentage of time spent per BD activity: Marketing and PMO (50%) / Tailoring go to market assets (50%).
Ideally, you’ll also have
- MBA with a major in Marketing or a MS (Marketing)
- Brand & marketing experience
- Experience of working within a B2B brand
- Events Execution experience is a plus
