MarTech campaign Lead 

 

The opportunity

 

We are looking for a MarTech campaign Lead who will be responsible for performing activities related to Brand Marketing and Communications. This individual will lead Marketo and CJA projects involving strategic execution of campaigns end to end, process improvements, oversee the development and implementation of marketing technology strategies that enhance the effectiveness of marketing campaigns, improve customer engagement, and drive business growth. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, marketing knowledge, and leadership skills.

 

The individual must be flexible, motivated, have high attention to detail and must have a proven track record of working effectively with teams, and with senior leaders across the business

 

 

Your key responsibilities

 

  • Oversee Customer Journey Analytics tool implementation and product usage across different countries and regions. Design and build new dashboards aligned with global and regional priorities and goals.
  • Drive and lead campaign management leveraging marketing technologies aligned with Martech strategy aligned with business goals
  • Oversee the development and implementation of marketing technology strategies that enhance the effectiveness of marketing campaigns, improve customer engagement, and drive business growth. 
  • Hands-on experience with email marketing applications, preferably Marketo, and an in-depth knowledge of email marketing, is highly preferred.
  • Coordinate and liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure all relevant content, assets and target audience parameters are received for campaign execution and set the right expectations
  • Act as Project Manager/Subject Matter Expert in Marketing Automation and Martech tools (Marketo & Customer Journey Analytics support stakeholder queries and liaise with regional teams for enhanced delivery.
  • Advise Regional and Global teams on campaign best practice, including working with BMC Campaign Managers, and BMC teams such as EY.com, Editorial, Brand to Demand etc
  • Connect with BMC campaign managers to anticipate campaign volumes and put a plan in place to help deliver high quality work with the current team headcount to manage team capacity, task workflow and workload.
  • Lead and manage data governance activities such as data clean-up and normalization to improve database quality.
  • Ensure compliance with global standards, security, content governance, and data handling protocols.
  • Proactively engage with country teams to discuss the current state of their data and help us measure country maturity in Marketo
  • Provide project support to the stakeholders throughout the various stages of the project, including testing use cases.
  • Provide regular reporting to key stakeholders on the performance of marketing automation campaigns, provide insights and recommendations to improve campaigns continuously.
  • Support process improvements and educate users on campaign best practices and support teams to onboard to new Martech tools
  • Establish KPIs and metrics to measure the effectiveness of marketing technology initiatives and campaigns.
  • Understand and analyse data incidents and user errors and define next steps to support the regional teams with mitigation plan
  • Act as a brand champion, ensuring that all external campaigns and online content support the firm’s brand and business strategy and compliant to risk and quality safeguards set by EY.
  • Regular connect with the team to discuss performance and define improvement areas and align trainings
  • Adapt appropriate coaching techniques to meet the various needs of team members. Recommend development activities/cross trainings tailored to each team member’s needs and learning style
  • Lead monthly connects with the iGTM stakeholders to provide oversight on utilization, performance, learning & wellbeing and challenges

 

 

Skills and attributes for success

 

  • Experience with MarTech tools preferably in Adobe Marketo Engagend CJA. Good to have certifications on Marketo and CJA but not mandatory.
  • Familiarity with the latest marketing trends, tools, and best practices is a must, including marketing automation concepts, such as lead generation, customer journey, lead nurturing, etc. 
  • Proven strong leadership skills. Lead and manage small and large diversified team spread across different countries.
  • Proven strong interpersonal with an analytical mindset and problem-solving capability.
  • Familiarity with Agile planning and Agile project management skills. 
  • Manage marketing automation efforts and processes, proactively researching and implementing the latest best practices, strategies, and industry standards.
  • Must be highly organized and self-motivated with a sense of urgency.
  • Knowledge on Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel and Microsoft SharePoint 

 

 

To qualify for the role, you must have

 

  • Any university degree or college diploma in Digital Marketing or a related field.
  • Min. 9-10 years of experience in Digital/email marketing Strategy, stakeholder management and leadership role.
  • Strong project management skills, including managing stakeholder expectations and multiple campaigns.
  • Must be a detail-oriented, organized self-starter who can work well within a team, and excel in a fast-paced corporate environment, whilst being able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines. 
  • Ability to review processes and make suggestions for automation. 
  • Solid technical skills and leadership skills
  • Exceptional communication skills - both written and verbal and must be comfortable with presenting to virtual teams. 
  • Advanced proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel and Microsoft SharePoint.
  • Familiarity with complex, multi-national organizations is highly preferred. 
  • Adherence to data privacy and integrity rules (such as GDPR, CANSPAM) is a must have understanding of customer journeys to identify possible risks and/or data breaches there is appropriate security and gets measures in place to safeguard it within the team and wider community.
