UX UI Designer

The opportunity

A hands-on designer who creates intuitive, accessible interfaces and AI-enabled experiences across web and mobile. Works with product, engineering and research to design production-ready UI and to shape how AI features (e.g., conversational assistants, generative content, smart suggestions) behave and integrate into digital ecosystems.

Your key responsibilities

• Own design from discovery through delivery: wireframes, user flows, interactive prototypes, visual design and handoff.
• Translate user & product requirements into elegant UI solutions using design systems and component libraries.
• Produce low to high-fidelity prototypes (Figma mainly) to validate concepts with stakeholders and users.
• Collaborate with engineering to ensure design integrity through implementation and QA.
• Work with UX researchers to convert insights into feature-level design decisions and iterate based on test results.
• Ensure accessibility, performance, and responsive behavior across devices and platforms.
• Contribute to and maintain the design system: tokens, components, usage guidelines and documentation.

Skills and attributes for success

• Experience with web and mobile app design.
• Working knowledge of responsive design and grid principles.
• Strong typography, layout and visual design skills.
• Working knowledge of industry tools: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Balsamiq, Omnigraffle, InVision, Sketch.
• Working knowledge of the ideation and creation of UI design deliverables: Sitemaps, user flows, wireframes, lo-fi and hi-fi layouts, prototypes.

To qualify for the role, you must have

• 3–5 years professional product design experience.
• Strong visual design, interaction design, and information architecture skills.
• Proficient in Figma and prototyping tools (Principle, Framer, ProtoPie or Figma prototypes).
• Solid understanding of front-end constraints and ability to produce developer-ready assets (SVG, exportables, specs).
• Familiarity with accessibility standards (WCAG) and responsive design patterns.
• Effective communicator and collaborator with cross-functional teams.
• Portfolio demonstrating end-to-end product work and problem-solving.
• Experience with analytics tools to inform design tradeoffs.
• Familiarity with LLMs and generative AI tools and practical experience using them in prototyping or workflows.

Ideally, you’ll also have

• Experience with design systems at scale.
• Basic HTML/CSS knowledge or experience working in Agile environments.
