The opportunity

The Brand, Marketing & Communications (BMC) function is evolving the way it plans, governs and delivers work across a growing portfolio of transformation initiatives. As part of how we undertake continual evolution in BMC, we are looking for a Transformation Operations Senior Associate to help drive effective programme operations, governance and stakeholder engagement across key strategic priorities.

 

This role is not a traditional programme support role. While it will provide critical operational support for governance forums, planning activities and stakeholder coordination today, it will also help shape how this work is delivered in the future.

Working across BMC transformation initiatives, you will help establish efficient, scalable and increasingly AI-enabled ways of working. You will support leaders and teams across Global, GDS and Regions, helping connect activity, maintain momentum and ensure the right information is available to the right people at the right time.

Your key responsibilities

  • Support programme governance forums, leadership meetings and transformation activities through effective planning, coordination, documentation and follow-up.
  • Manage action trackers, decision logs, risks, dependencies and programme reporting across transformation initiatives.
  • Coordinate stakeholders across multiple global programmes, ensuring actions are progressed and commitments are delivered.
  • Help maintain the BMC Planning Tool as a single source of truth for planning and activity management across the function.
  • Partner with programme leads, regional teams and other stakeholders to support planning cycles, governance requirements and successful programme delivery.
  • Coordinate with the BMC Planning and development teams on project deliverables and enhancements
  • Develop and maintain documentation, including requirements, workflows, backlogs and user guides process guidance, reporting materials and stakeholder communications.
  • Identify opportunities to simplify, standardise or automate operational processes.
  • Contribute to the design and adoption of AI-enabled ways of working, including the use of automation, Copilot and agent-supported processes where appropriate.
  • Help build scalable support models, playbooks and self-service resources that improve efficiency and consistency across the function.

To qualify for the role, you must have

  • Experience in programme operations, PMO, transformation support, business operations, project coordination or a related role.
  • Experience supporting complex programmes or portfolios involving multiple stakeholders and teams.
  • Strong experience producing governance materials, reports, presentations, trackers and programme documentation.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality work to tight deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, including PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook and Teams.
  • Experience working in a highly matrixed global environment.

 

Ideally, you’ll also have

  • Experience supporting transformation, change or operating model initiatives.
  • Experience working with planning, workflow or reporting tools.
  • Experience developing process documentation, guidance materials or onboarding resources.
  • Familiarity with Copilot, automation or AI-enabled productivity tools.
  • Experience working within a marketing, communications or business enablement function.
  • A passion for improving processes and helping teams work more effectively.

 

Technologies and Tools

  • Proficient in MS Project / Planner/ Word / PowerPoint / Excel - working knowledge of MS office.
  • Azure DevOps exposure (desirable)

Success in the role

Within the first 12-18 months, the successful candidate will not only help deliver effective governance, planning and operational support across BMC transformation initiatives, but will also identify and help implement process, automation and AI opportunities that reduce manual effort, improve stakeholder experience and create more scalable ways of working across the function.
