Associate Analyst, Risk Management
This role requires regular interaction with different engagement teams and EY Clients on day-to-day basis to understand business requirements and provide required solutions.
The opportunity
This opportunity will enable the professional to help the firm and its client serving professionals in making right decisions with respect to compliance policies and regulatory framework. As an independence professional, this opportunity enables to drive projects for identifying & evaluations risks associates with firm’s audit clients, specifically maintaining firm’s independence with respect to audit clients and helping engagement teams in alleviating them.
Enablement Services is a fast growing vertical in EY GDS, and takes care of portfolio ranging across domains, works with global clients, uses cutting edge technologies and enterprise level tools. We are industry leader in robotics process automation, process efficiency and transformation. Quality of work and diversified role are the key focus of our vertical.
Your key responsibilities
Technical Expertise:
- Learns and understands key requirements of firm, structure, business strategies and different regulatory RMS rules and policies
- Provides transactional compliance support for US Independence & Risk Management via US BRS Team as per the laid down standards
- Ensures regular follow-up with the US engagement teams, EY Clients and assists with the process completion
- Liaisons between the different US engagement teams, Independence, risk management services team and other functional areas within the firm
- Adapt to the different data bases and process steps to complete requests received
- Timely delivery of quality work and achieve the objectives set based on the determined process methodology
- Collaborate with the team and provide feedback for process improvements
- Pro-actively plan and prioritize daily tasks and keep the team informed of the status

To qualify for the role, you must have
- Education: Graduate/post-graduate
- Experience: 0 to 2 years of relevant experience
- Certification Requirements: Any relevant certifications will be an added advantage
- Structured written and oral communication skill
Ideally, you’ll also have
- Knowledge on difference between risk advisory and risk management
- Presentation skills, including public speaking and presentation creation using PowerPoint or a similar program
- Critical thinking skills with the ability to independently solve problems with data
Technologies and Tools
- Experience in MS office suites like Microsoft 365, MS excel, PowerPoint
