The opportunity

This opportunity is in the global operations teams of EY Global Delivery Services (GDS) which is rapidly growing. As our efforts towards building a better working world, GDS operations need to create an evolving framework of CRM Operational excellence framework control in all processes, decision making and activities for GDS operations to enable our business teams across locations.

As an Associate Risk Management Analyst, you will take on a more advanced role in supporting the risk management department. Building on the foundational skills developed at the Associate level, you will have increased responsibilities in managing risk management tools, performing more complex tasks related to client and engagement acceptance, and contributing to the continuous improvement of risk management processes. You will also mentor junior team members and provide more in-depth analysis and reporting.

 

Your key responsibilities

  • Manage more complex aspects of risk management tools, including advanced troubleshooting and problem resolution.
  • Lead the implementation of new features or updates in risk management systems, including coordinating with IT and other relevant teams.
  • Ensure data integrity within risk management tools, performing regular audits and making necessary corrections.
  • Conduct detailed reviews of client and engagement documentation, identifying and assessing potential risks.
  • Assist in developing and refining processes for client and engagement acceptance to improve efficiency and compliance.
  • Liaise with the onshore team and other departments to resolve any issues related to client and engagement acceptance.
  • Prepare and analyze complex reports on risk management activities, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
  • Support the development of compliance frameworks and contribute to internal audits by providing necessary documentation and insights.
  • Act as a point of contact for more complex queries and issues, both from within the team and from other departments.
  • Contribute to the ongoing improvement of risk management processes, identifying areas for efficiency gains or risk reduction.
  • Participate in cross-functional projects aimed at enhancing overall risk management capabilities within the organization.
  • Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes, and share relevant insights with the team.

 

Qualification, Skills, and attributes for success

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, risk management, or a related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in risk management, finance, or a related area.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with risk management tools and systems is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • This is a hybrid role.
