EY GDS – Client Decisions & Insights –Associate
As a Supervising Associate – Client Decisions & Insights, you will play a pivotal role in enabling fact-based decision-making by delivering actionable, demand-driven intelligence that enhances strategic differentiation and pricing decisions. This role focuses on market and competitor analysis, blending analytical rigor (win-loss insights, price positioning) with consultative collaboration to ensure EY remains competitive in high-stakes opportunities.
You will assist in developing Competitive Intelligence (CI) tools, dashboards, and frameworks, contribute to pursuit strategy discussions, and collaborate with Commercial Architects and Pursuit Leaders to enable fact-based decision-making.
Your key responsibilities
- Enable pursuit success by embedding competitive intelligence and pricing insights into proposals and strengthen EY’s value proposition.
- Assist in designing and executing win-loss interviews and surveys, applying structured methodologies to capture meaningful insights.
- Contribute to CI deliverables such as battle cards, dashboards, and pricing benchmarks for high-stakes pursuits.
- Maintain and refresh CI frameworks and tools, ensuring consistency and usability across engagements.
- Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to share timely intelligence and enable CI activation.
- Provide input for thought leadership initiatives, summarizing industry trends and competitor behaviors into actionable insights.
- Promote adoption of CI tools and processes, supporting capability-building initiatives within the team.
Skills and attributes for success
- Strong analytical and research skills with ability to synthesize data into actionable insights.
- Good communication and storytelling skills to present findings clearly to stakeholders.
- Familiarity with CI platforms (e.g., Klue, Crayon, Contify) and ability to learn new tools quickly.
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; knowledge of Power BI is an advantage.
- Ability to work collaboratively in global, matrixed teams under tight timelines.
Qualifications for the role:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field (e.g., Computer Science, Statistics, Data Analytics); MBA is a plus.
- Experience: 1–3 years in data analysis, research, or related fields, preferably in professional services.
- No mandatory certifications: relevant credentials are an advantage.
- Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills; knowledge of Power BI for advanced visualization and scalability

- Must be flexible with working hours according to the needs of the geography being supported.
- May be required to travel on rare occasions.
