Position Summary

EY GDS MENA is seeking a highly experienced Associate Director - AI Infusion to lead the identification, incubation and deployment of Artificial Intelligence solutions across GDS MENA Service Lines and Competencies. The role will act as a strategic AI transformation leader, partnering with business stakeholders to uncover AI-enabled opportunities, develop proof-of-concepts (POCs), and scale successful solutions to drive productivity, quality, innovation and business value.

The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in Data & AI, strong consulting and stakeholder-management skills, and a proven track record of delivering enterprise-scale AI initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

AI Opportunity Identification & Value Realisation

• Partner with GDS MENA Service Line leaders, Competency leaders and Enablement Functions to identify high-impact AI infusion opportunities.
• Conduct AI readiness assessments and evaluate business processes for automation, augmentation and optimisation.
• Develop AI transformation roadmaps aligned with business priorities and strategic objectives.
• Build business cases and quantify expected benefits, including productivity gains, quality improvements, risk reduction and cost efficiencies.

AI Solution Development & Deployment

• Lead the design and development of AI use cases, prototypes and proof-of-concepts (POCs).
• Collaborate with Data, Technology, Digital and AI teams to build scalable AI solutions.
• Drive end-to-end implementation of approved AI initiatives from ideation through deployment and adoption.
• Ensure solutions comply with EY AI governance, security, privacy and responsible AI principles.

Stakeholder Management & Business Partnering

• Establish strong relationships with MENA Service Line and Competency leadership.
• Act as a trusted advisor on AI strategy, emerging technologies and industry-leading practices.
• Facilitate workshops, innovation sessions and AI discovery engagements with stakeholders.
• Present AI opportunities, business cases, POC results and implementation outcomes to senior leadership.

AI Innovation & Capability Building

• Monitor emerging AI trends, GenAI technologies and industry innovations relevant to EY services.
• Promote an AI-first culture by identifying cross-functional opportunities and reusable AI assets.
• Support AI awareness, training and capability-building initiatives across GDS MENA teams.
• Contribute to the development of AI accelerators, frameworks and best practices.

Programme Governance & Delivery

• Establish governance and performance metrics for AI initiatives.
• Track adoption, benefits realisation and return on investment (ROI) for deployed solutions.
• Manage multiple AI programmes simultaneously while ensuring quality and timely delivery.
• Collaborate with global EY AI teams to leverage enterprise capabilities and solutions.

Qualification Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (B.Tech/B.E.) or related technology discipline - mandatory.
• MBA from a recognised institution - preferred.
• Additional certifications in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Science, Cloud Technologies or Generative AI will be an advantage.

Experience

• 15+ years of experience in Data, Analytics, Artificial Intelligence, Digital Transformation or Technology Consulting.
• Proven experience in delivering enterprise AI and advanced analytics programmes.
• Experience in identifying business use cases and converting them into scalable AI solutions.
• Strong understanding of Generative AI, Machine Learning, NLP, Predictive Analytics, Intelligent Automation and modern AI platforms.
• Experience working with consulting firms, professional services organisations or large-scale global enterprises preferred.
• Experience managing senior stakeholders and leading cross-functional transformation programmes.
