Position Details: 

 

Job Title  :  Assistant Director - EDS

 

Job purpose    

                                                                                                            

  • Manager of multiple analytics teams that work on various Business Intelligence projects.

 

 

Specific Role requirements

 

  • Must have at least 10 years of deep experience in information analysis and reporting in descriptive and diagnostic streams
  • Capability to clearly understand and articulate a business intelligence problem and lead multiple projects independently.

 

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Strong expertise in data integration methodologies and best practices.
  • Proven ability to deliver compelling data storytelling and advanced visualizations using Power BI.
  • In-depth understanding of Databricks, Azure services, and the Microsoft Fabric technology stack.
  • Act as a trusted advisor in designing and recommending innovative data-driven solutions.
  •  Mentor and upskill team members on Azure technologies, with a strong focus on Azure Data Factory.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact (PoC) for clients throughout project execution.
  • Provide product-level and design-level technical guidance and best practices.
  • Effectively interface and collaborate with onsite coordinators and stakeholders.
  • Document, present, and communicate insights to clients, proactively influencing data-driven business decisions.
  • Act as Consultant for forecasting and implementing ML models.
  • Ensure timely completion of deliverables with consistent status reporting to leadership.

 

 

Experience and Qualification:

 

  • B Tech/Masters or Ph. D. degree in either Economics (econometrics) or Statistics or MBA (with strong quantitative background) or Bachelors in Engineering with strong quantitative background and adequate industry experience
  • Should be at least around 10 years of experience in Analytics
  • Should have understanding and experience of analytics best practices.
  • Excellent business communication, Consulting, Quality process skills
  • Must be a team player and team leader
