AEM Tech Lead is a key member of the EY Digital Experience Platform’s delivery team in GDS. This resource will use technology components from both Adobe, Microsoft and other platform components to bring to bear innovative solutions to business problems.

The opportunity

This opportunity within the EY Digital Experience Platform’s delivery team will help in the growth of your career. You will have the opportunity to work with the Adobe cloud suites and will collaborate with the broader team. Lead a team of delivery team members to provide deep technical development expertise, guidance and best practices and coding standards.

Your key responsibilities

• Partner with wider technology teams and business to understand functional and non-functional requirements from a business and from a platform perspective
• Lead a team of AEM developers & other delivery team members to provide deep technical development expertise, guidance and best practices and coding standards
• Carry out necessary AEM development work – components, templates, services, necessary configurations
• Conduct code reviews and technical design reviews.
• Estimate efforts and identify technical risks and propose mitigation plan.
• Trouble shoot production issues and provide technical guidance during critical incidents.
• Optimize performance, dispatcher, caching strategy.
• Document findings, learnings and recommendations
• Share knowledge on new AEM features, capabilities, technologies, architecture methodologies, standards, leading practices.

To qualify for the role, you must have

• 8 to 10 years in IT environment
• 5+ years of hands-on experience of working with AEM
• Hands-on development experience with AEM 6.x onwards including AEM as Cloud Service.
• Adobe Experience Manager – components, templates, workflows, MSM and Rollout, translations and workflows, UI customisations, reporting,
• Deep knowledge of Java, Maven, JCR, OSGI, Sling Framework, HTL (Sightly), AEM dispatchers, Restful APIs.
• HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, jQuery, AJAX
• Knowledge of Cloud Manager CI/CD pipelines, GitHub
• Code Quality Tool/Framework: SonarQube, Junit, Mockito
• Adobe certifications such as AEM Sites Developer and or AEM Cloud Service required

Ideally, you’ll also have

• Excellent communication skills, facilitation and influencing.
• Understanding of the Adobe Experience Cloud suite of products.
• Experience of Adobe’s Project Firefly highly desirable.
• Experience of additional Adobe solutions such as a Target, Analytics beneficial.
