The opportunity
As a Manager in our Business Transformation practice, you will lead high-impact initiatives that help clients improve business performance, operational efficiency, and achieve customer-centric outcomes. You’ll work closely with senior executives to deliver strategic solutions and drive sustainable change across industries.
We are looking for accomplished, creative individuals who bring rigor, passion and practicality to our growing team across three areas of focus:
- Business Reinvention - Helping our clients to reimagine, innovate, and mobilize business and operating models by leveraging digital, technology and data.
- Customer Experience - Creating differentiated experiences for people, customers and employees and designing new paths for sustainable value creation and transformation of our clients’ marketing, sales and service organizations
- Transformation Delivery: Implementing transformation through enterprise agile design, program management, product and service management tools
Your key responsibilities
- Lead and manage transformation programs from strategy through execution, confirming alignment with client objectives and EY quality standards.
- Oversee process mapping and reengineering initiatives, driving operational excellence and efficiency.
- Direct project management activities, including planning, resource allocation, risk management, and stakeholder engagement.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to senior client leadership, providing insights on industry trends, performance drivers, and innovative solutions.
- Develop and deliver customer experience strategies that enhance engagement and create measurable business value.
- Drive business development efforts, including client pitches, proposals, and thought leadership.
- Mentor and coach team members, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Develop and maintain productive relationships with client management.
- Demonstrate high levels of technical and professional knowledge and quickly assimilate new knowledge.
- Keep up to date with current developments and trends in consulting services capabilities, digital transformation tools and industry knowledge.
Skills and attributes for success
- Proven leadership in process mapping and process improvement methodologies.
- Strong program and project management expertise, including governance and delivery of large-scale initiatives.
- Deep understanding of customer experience design and operational transformation.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Demonstrated critical thinking skills, with the ability to analyze situations, identify and analyze problems, and generate effective solutions
- Structured problem solving, quantitative analysis, and storytelling skills
- Demonstrated consistency in values, principles, and work ethic
To qualify for the role you must have
- A Bachelor's degree in Management, Finance, Business, Design Innovation or a related field. A Master's degree would be considered an asset
- Certifications such as CPA, PMP, Lean Six Sigma, and Agile Design, Scrum (DAVSC, DAC, or equivalent) are highly preferred
- 8+ years of proven experience in project management, business analysis, process reengineering or process design, innovation and/or transformation consulting
- Sector experience in financial services, telecommunications, manufacturing, oil & gas will be considered an asset
- Strong analytical, report-writing, and presentation skills.
