Location: Katowice - 2 days in office / 3 days remote

We are seeking an experienced eProcurement Senior Consultant to join the EY GDS Poland SC&O team. The role will focus on supporting clients in the deployment and adoption of procurement technology solutions, including Source-to-Pay, Procure-to-Pay, Supplier Management, Sourcing, Contract Management, Spend Analytics and related digital procurement platforms.
The opportunity
This is an opportunity to contribute to large-scale procurement transformation programs, working across business process design, system requirements, configuration, testing, training, go-live readiness and post-go-live support.
We are looking for a Senior Consultant with hands-on consulting and/or implementation experience across procurement platforms such as SAP Ariba, Coupa, Ivalua, Zycus, Oracle Procurement Cloud, SAP, GEP or comparable eProcurement tools.
Your key responsibilities
- Support end-to-end procurement technology implementation projects, from requirements gathering and process design to configuration, testing, deployment and hypercare.
- Facilitate blueprinting and design workshops to capture business requirements, assess as-is processes and define fit-for-purpose to-be procurement processes.
- Translate business requirements into functional specifications, user stories, configuration documents and process design materials.
- Support system integration testing, user acceptance testing, defect resolution and readiness tracking.
- Prepare process documentation, configuration guides, training materials and user support documentation.
- Conduct training sessions for procurement users, business requesters and suppliers.
- Support go-live preparation, cutover activities, adoption tracking and post-go-live hypercare.
- Collaborate with client stakeholders, technical teams, system integrators and EY project teams to ensure delivery quality, user adoption and business value realization.
- Contribute to digital procurement initiatives by identifying automation, analytics and AI-enabled improvement opportunities across the Source-to-Pay lifecycle.
Skills and attributes for success
- Strong understanding of Source-to-Pay / Procure-to-Pay processes and the procurement technology landscape.
- Practical experience with procurement platform implementation, configuration, testing or administration.
- Ability to translate business needs into functional requirements, process flows and system design decisions.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication and workshop facilitation skills.
- Structured problem-solving mindset and ability to work independently in a client-facing environment.
- Familiarity with digital procurement trends, including automation, analytics, AI-enabled procurement use cases and GenAI-assisted ways of working.
To qualify for the role, you must have
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Information Systems, Technology or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in procurement, consulting, business process transformation or procurement technology implementation.
- Hands-on experience with at least one procurement platform, such as SAP Ariba, Coupa, Ivalua, Zycus, Oracle Procurement Cloud, SAP, GEP or comparable tools.
- Experience in one or more Source-to-Pay areas: sourcing, supplier management, contracting, purchasing, invoicing, catalog/content management, spend analytics, risk or data integration.
- Experience in requirements gathering, process mapping, system configuration, test preparation, UAT support and go-live readiness.
- Strong PowerPoint and Excel skills; ability to prepare clear client-facing deliverables and presentations.
- Strong English communication skills and ability to work effectively with international teams and clients.
- Ability to work independently, manage priorities and demonstrate ownership of assigned workstreams.
Ideally, you’ll also have
- Additional certifications in procurement platforms, project management, agile delivery, process improvement, data analytics or AI literacy would be an advantage.
- Experience in data visualization and reporting using Power BI, Tableau, QlikView or similar tools.
- Technical understanding of system configuration, integrations and solution deployment is considered a strong advantage.
- Knowledge of other languages (German, French).
