Vendor Management Specialist
Location: Katowice - 2 days in office / 3 days remote

As a Vendor Management Specialist, you will join a dedicated team responsible for sourcing and managing contractor talent to support the EY GDS organization. You will oversee the full lifecycle of contractors provided by our vendors—from sourcing and interview coordination to onboarding and offboarding. You will collaborate with leading players in IT and financial markets, contributing to innovative projects that drive business success.
Your key responsibilities
In this role, you will work closely with service delivery teams and vendors to understand and fulfill resourcing needs. Acting as a trusted partner to Hiring Managers, you will ensure clear communication and timely updates throughout the process. Your responsibilities will include:
- Gathering sourcing requirements from managers across the organization.
- Establishing sourcing plans with managers and conducting regular follow-ups.
- Sourcing candidates to build a strong talent pipeline supporting selected EY Service Lines and Service Functions.
- Collaborating with vendors to organize interviews and facilitate the selection and offering process.
- Managing the onboarding process for contractors, ensuring all necessary steps are completed efficiently.
- Handling staffing order management to process contractor requests promptly.
- Supporting invoice processing to ensure timely and accurate vendor payments.
- Assisting with auxiliary processes such as travel management and compliance tracking.
- Maintaining effective communication and strong relationships with vendors, including escalation handling.
- Participating in the creation, tracking, and communication of metrics related to contractor engagement.
- Ensuring an outstanding experience for candidates and contractors throughout their engagement with EY.
Skills and attributes for success
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data management.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively engage and collaborate with Hiring Managers at various levels, vendors, candidates, and internal teams
- Experience in talent sourcing within a multinational organization.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
To qualify for the role, you must have
- 2-3 years of experience in sourcing, recruitment, or operations.
- Proficiency in spoken and written English; Spanish is a plus.
- Strong enthusiasm for learning and trying new approaches.
- Collaborative mindset with excellent communication skills.
- Proven ability to build and maintain relationships.
Ideally, you’ll also have
- Assertiveness and self-confidence.
- Experience with SAP SuccessFactors, LinkedIn Recruiter, and other sourcing channels.
- Positive, can-do attitude.
