You will be involved in analysis of cross-border payments, assisting our clients through their transformation, delivering tailored solutions and alignment to global payment standards. You will work with the most recognizable and influential players on the IT/ financial markets within the challenging projects.

 

Your key responsibilities

 

 As a Senior Trade & Settlement Analyst in Wealth and Asset Management, your key responsibilities will be:

  • Cooperate with Business Analysts / Stakeholders / Teams on delivering client engagements, providing valuable support and key deliverables.
  • Oversee and monitor transactions to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
  • Analyze transaction data to identify trends, discrepancies and areas for improvement in the settlement process.
  • Ensure all transactions comply with relevant regulations, including anti-money laundering (AML) and know your customer (KYC) requirements.
  • Analyze and possibly manage SWIFT messages for international payments, ensuring correct formatting and timely transmission.
  • Perform reconciliation of trade settlements and payments to ensure accuracy and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Contribute to the delivery of high-quality consulting services to clients.
  • Participate in relevant training programs.

 

Skills and attributes for success

 

 As a candidate Senior Trade & Settlement Analyst, you are continuously expanding and driving your career path taking into consideration that role as a key direction. The following skills will set you apart:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, financial industry or degree from studies including finance faculty.
  • Familiarity with payment systems, SWIFT messaging standards (both ISO 15022 and ISO 20022) and financial software applications.
  • Corporate experience in trade settlement role of at least 3 years.
  • Advanced domain knowledge of Finance, Asset Servicing or Wealth Management.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing regulations, technologies and market conditions.
  • Strong ability to analyze data, identify trends and draw meaningful conclusions to support decision-making.
  • Fluency in spoken and written English.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Experience in working on an external project.

 

To qualify for the role, you must have

 

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, IT, Science, other Technical qualification.
  • 10+ years in a corporate IT environment.
  • 5+ years in a similar position.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Excellent business communication skills.
  • Certificates providing architectural skills like: AWS/Azure/GCP Architect level, TOGAF, ArchiMate or others.

 

Ideally, you’ll also have

 

  • Understanding of relevant financial regulations, including AML, KYC and other compliance requirements.
  • Experience and/or familiarity with workflow management systems such as JIRA, Azure DevOps, Trello etc.
  • Knowledge and awareness of team member roles within a project (e.g. business analyst, product owner, project manager).
  • Native, or bilingual proficiency in other foreign languages than English.
  • Ability and willingness to travel.
