Senior Software Tester - Insurance Domain
Location: Katowice - 2 days in office / 3 days remote

The opportunity
You will be part of a dynamic team of professionals working for international clients. By cooperating closely with software designers, developers, testers and other specialists you will be able to develop your technical software testing skills and build a better working world.
Your key responsibilities
- Lead the preparation, execution, and reporting of tests to ensure agreed quality
- Build and maintain a test strategy for digital products within defined requirements
- Ensure a consistent SQC and SQA approach early in design and development
- Collaborate with vendors to define and implement early testing mechanisms
- Prepare and execute test cases across functional and non-functional testing areas
- Identify and manage required testing resources
- Log and track defects in test management tools and work with development teams to resolve issues
- Produce clear, data driven test reports and communicate key findings to stakeholders
- Apply good agile practices to improve testing efficiency

To qualify for the role, you must have
- Proven manual testing experience in large enterprise environments, ideally in regulated industries such as insurance, finance, or pharmaceuticals
- Practical experience with testing methodologies - functional, regression, integration, system, UAT, and non‑functional testing, with the ability to design and execute comprehensive test cases
- Ability to work effectively in Agile and traditional methodologies, collaborating with stakeholders
- Strong English communication skills, enabling clear interaction with cross‑functional teams and external partners
- Minimum 5 years of testing experience, preferably involving complex insurance systems such as policy, claims, underwriting, or actuarial platforms
- Proficiency with Azure DevOps, JIRA, or similar tools for test management
- Good understanding of SDLC and STLC with the ability to apply best practices and compliance standards
- Language: English proficiency at B2 level or higher
- Availability to travel occasionally for workshops or onsite collaboration.
Ideally, you’ll also have
- EIS experience
- Familiarity with standards like Solvency II, IFRS 17, or GxP/GLP/GCP
- ISTQB certificate
- Basic experience in Test Automation
