Let us introduce you the job offer by EY GDS Poland – a member of the global integrated service delivery center network by EY.

EY Studio+ is seeking a Senior Drupal Developer to join our growing European team and support digital platform, content management and experience delivery for International Private and Public Institutions.

As a senior consultant within EY Studio+, you will operate at the intersection of technology, content architecture and user experience, supporting the design and delivery of Drupal-based digital platforms, structured content experiences and reusable web components.

You will be part of a multidisciplinary network combining consulting, design, content, data and technology capabilities, helping public clients build accessible, maintainable and user-centric digital services and knowledge platforms.

This role requires proven hands-on Drupal delivery experience, strong CMS implementation skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with designers, business analysts, content specialists and senior stakeholders in complex, multi-country delivery environments.

The opportunity

This is an opportunity for an experienced Drupal professional who can combine:

  • hands-on Drupal development and site-building
  • CMS architecture awareness and content modelling
  • collaboration with UX, content and business analysis teams
  • public sector (especially EU institutions) digital platform delivery experience (nice to have)
  • quality, accessibility and maintainability focus

You will contribute to the growth of EY Studio+ in the private sector and institutional market by helping design, implement and maintain Drupal-based content platforms, digital toolkits, portals and knowledge experiences for international public clients.

Studio+ focuses on customer transformation, marketing excellence and digital experience delivery, including digital platforms, content operations, customer journeys, service design, stakeholder engagement and data-driven communication. Your role will adapt these capabilities into robust Drupal and CMS delivery.

Your key responsibilities

  • Implement and configure Drupal-based pages, content structures, templates and reusable components for digital platforms and knowledge portals.
  • Translate information architecture, UX designs and content models into practical Drupal structures, including content types, taxonomies, menus, views and publishing patterns.
  • Work closely with UX/UI designers, content designers, business analysts and communications specialists to deliver coherent digital user experiences.
  • Support editorial workflows, content governance, page publishing and quality assurance in CMS environments.
  • Contribute to multilingual and accessibility-conscious content delivery, including coordination with localisation and QA activities.
  • Participate in iterative delivery cycles, including pilot feedback, stakeholder validation and refinement of digital platform components.
  • Apply good engineering practices, including Git-based collaboration, configuration management, code review, documentation and release discipline.
  • Support proposal and solution development by contributing Drupal-related assumptions, role input, implementation considerations and technical clarifications.
  • Help strengthen Studio+ positioning in the public institutional ecosystem by contributing to reusable delivery patterns, CMS standards and Drupal capability development.

To qualify for the role, you must have

  • 5+ years of hands-on Drupal development or site-building experience, with at least 3 years of professional Drupal web development experience.
  • Strong practical knowledge of Drupal content types, taxonomy, menus, views, roles and permissions, configuration management and CMS publishing workflows.
  • Experience with PHP, Twig, Composer, Drush, Git and modern Drupal delivery practices.
  • Experience working with content-heavy platforms, portals, knowledge sites, digital toolkits or public-facing web services.
  • Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across UX, content, business analysis, communications and technology.
  • Good understanding of accessibility, usability, performance, security and maintainability considerations in web delivery.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to explain technical choices to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Fluency in English.

To qualify for the role you must have

  • Experience in Drupal development, Drupal site-building or CMS implementation roles.
  • Proven track record of delivering Drupal-based pages, content structures, templates or reusable components.
  • Experience working in complex stakeholder environments, ideally involving public sector, international, multilingual or content-heavy platforms.
  • Ability to operate effectively in distributed, cross-functional teams.
  • Strong ownership mindset, attention to detail and commitment to quality delivery.
  • Fluency in English (C1)

Ideally, you’ll also have

  • Experience working on projects for International Public Institutions, European Commission DGs, Agencies or public-sector bodies.
  • Knowledge of Drupal 9, Drupal 10 or Drupal 11 and modern Drupal architecture patterns.
  • Experience with multilingual Drupal implementations, content translation workflows or localisation QA.
  • Understanding of digital service design, UX collaboration and content architecture.
  • Drupal certification, open-source Drupal contribution or strong Drupal portfolio evidence.
  • Additional EU languages.

What we look for

  • Senior specialists who combine strong Drupal delivery skills with a collaborative, consulting-oriented mindset.
  • Professionals who can bridge technology, design and content to build practical and sustainable digital experiences.
  • Individuals who are quality-driven, structured, proactive and comfortable working with complex stakeholder groups.
  • Team members who contribute to EY Studio+ culture, capability development and long-term growth in public-sector digital platforms.
