Senior Consultant - SAP FI/CO with Treasury (TRM)

 

Location: Katowice - 2 days in office / 3 days remote

Right now, we are looking for a Senior Consultant in SAP FICO with Treasury (TRM) to join our EY GDS Consulting Services team focused on providing cutting – edge IT solutions dedicated to the biggest market players in EMEA region.

As a member of our team in GDS office in Warszawa or Wrocław and Malaga, Poland/Spain, you’ll have a chance to extend your knowledge & experience by working on the interesting projects with the newest technologies and approaches. You’ll support clients in choosing the most suitable business solution and take part in digital transformation.

 

Your key responsibilities

 

  • Lead Treasury solution design across S/4HANA Cash Management, Bank Account Management (BAM), Liquidity Planning/Forecasting, In‑House Cash (IHC), Payment Factory (POBO/COBO), Bank Communication Management (BCM) and connectivity (SWIFT/EBICS/H2H; ISO 20022).
  • Implement TRM (Transaction Manager for Money Market, FX, Securities, Derivatives; Risk Analyzer; Hedge Management & Accounting) with seamless integration to FI‑GL/AP/AR and Group Reporting for valuations and disclosures.
  • Run Fit‑Gap workshops, own configuration, functional specs, testing (SIT/UAT), cutover/data migration, training and hypercare for Treasury and Finance streams. (Base scope retained and expanded for Treasury.)
  • Deliver projects across greenfield and brownfield landscapes using Agile methods; drive quality, risk and issue management for your workstream(s).
  • Advise on S/4HANA adoption paths (e.g., co‑existence with Central Finance and phased Treasury rollout) and controls/compliance for cash, payments and financial instruments.

 

Skills and attributes for success

 

  • Proven track record implementing SAP S/4HANA Finance with significant exposure to Treasury domains.
  • Curiosity to keep pace with new S/4HANA Finance & Treasury features and Fiori UX; enthusiasm for sharing knowledge in an international environment.

 

To qualify for the role, you must have

 

  • 5+ years of experience in SAP FI/CO, including 3+ years focused on Treasury (TRM/Cash/BCM/IHC/BAM).
  • Hands‑on experience with standard project tasks: Fit‑Gap, configuration, testing, documentation, training.
  • Strong understanding of end‑to‑end finance and treasury processes (cash positioning, liquidity planning, bank connectivity, payments, funding/investments, FX exposure management
  • Solid accounting knowledge (incl. IFRS/GAAP implications for financial instruments and hedge accounting).
  • Excellent English (verbal & written); commitment to continuous improvement; experience leading a project stream/team; data migration exposure; strong communication and teamwork.

 

Ideally, you’ll also have

 

  • German or another European language.
  • Experience with Central Finance co‑existence models for Treasury; Group Reporting integration for valuation/FX; SAP BTP integration patterns.
  • SAP S/4HANA Treasury certification or progress toward it (Cash Management & TRM).
  • A great sense of humor and the courage to lead.
