The opportunity

Join EY GDS as an SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll (ECP) Consultant / Senior Consultant and become part of a global team delivering innovative payroll transformation programs for leading organizations worldwide. We welcome candidates with experience in ECP, SAP HCM Payroll, payroll transformation programs, or payroll operations who are interested in building expertise in cloud payroll solutions.

As a member of our team, you will work on international projects, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and contribute to large-scale SAP SuccessFactors deployments while supporting organizations on their digital HR transformation journey.

Your key responsibilities

• Lead and support SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll implementations across all project phases, including discovery, design, configuration, testing, deployment, and hypercare.
• Conduct client workshops to gather payroll requirements, analyze business processes, and recommend leading-practice payroll solutions.
• Configure and maintain Employee Central Payroll components in alignment with legal, business, and organizational requirements.
• Collaborate with Employee Central, Time Management, Integration, and Reporting teams to ensure seamless end-to-end solution delivery.
• Support payroll testing activities, defect resolution, payroll validation cycles, and cutover planning.
• Prepare functional specifications, review integration requirements, and support data migration activities.
• Provide guidance and mentoring to junior consultants while contributing to EY's SAP SuccessFactors payroll practice growth and knowledge-sharing initiatives.

• Experience supporting workshops, payroll testing cycles, validation activities, deployment planning, and business readiness initiatives.
• Experience working in multinational environments and collaborating with diverse teams across geographies.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Demonstrates curiosity, continuous learning mindset, and willingness to expand expertise across SAP SuccessFactors Payroll, Employee Central, integrations, and broader HR transformation programs.

To qualify for the role, you must have

• Experience in payroll implementation, payroll operations, SAP HCM Payroll, Employee Central Payroll, or payroll transformation projects.
• Understanding of payroll processes, testing, validation, cutover, and post-go-live activities.
• Experience working with business stakeholders and project teams.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong customer-facing and consulting skills.
• Fluent English communication skills.

Ideally, you’ll also have

• SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll (ECP) certification.
• Hands-on SAP SuccessFactors ECP experience.
• Experience with Employee Central and related integrations.
• Experience supporting multi-country payroll deployment programs.
• Additional SAP SuccessFactors certifications.
• Knowledge of Spanish, French, or German.
• Experience within international consulting or professional services organizations.
