The opportunity

 

This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute directly to the safety and security of international business travelers. As a Travel Risk Management Specialist, you will play a key role in assessing and mitigating travel-related risks, particularly for destinations classified as high-risk countries. You will work closely with travelers, security providers, and travel management partners to ensure informed travel decisions and compliance with the firm's travel security requirements.

Your key responsibilities

 

  • Communicate with travelers via email and Microsoft Teams to collect and verify information required for travel risk assessments.
  • Review travel requests to high-risk destinations and evaluate potential security concerns.
  • Collaborate with International SOS (ISOS) to identify, assess, and monitor travel-related risks and threats.
  • Liaise with American Express (Amex) regarding travel approvals, escalations, and decisions related to high-risk travel requests.
  • Ensure all travel risk assessments are completed accurately and within agreed timelines.
  • Provide guidance and support to travelers regarding travel security requirements and risk mitigation measures.
  • Escalate complex or urgent cases to the appropriate stakeholders when necessary.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and records of travel risk assessments and approvals.
  • Stay up to date with global security developments, travel advisories, and internal travel security policies.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal stakeholders, security partners, and external vendors.

To qualify for the role, you must have

 

  • Fluent French (C1) – written and spoken.
  • Very good English (minimum B2).
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Good working knowledge of MS Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to work independently while managing competing priorities.

 

Ideally, you'll also have

 

  • Experience in risk management, compliance, security, or a related field.
  • Knowledge of travel security concepts and international travel risk management processes.
  • Experience working with travel management providers, security vendors, or global mobility programs.
  • Customer service or stakeholder support experience in an international environment.
