The opportunity
Risk Management Services have been established in GDS Poland more than 5 years ago as a part of the global process and it is growing and developing rapidly. RMS team is responsible for managing and controlling various reporting activities, with strong multi-tasking, prioritization, organizational and time management skills.
The MARQ Associate supports the end-to-end MARQ process, ensuring accurate data collection, compliance monitoring, and timely execution of Q&ERM ratings for PPEDDs. This role is critical in maintaining EY’s global risk and quality standards and contributes to the LEAD performance framework.
Your key responsibilities
Data Management & Compliance:
- Maintain and update MARQ tool entries for PPEDDs, including global and local measures.
- Reconcile MARQ square reports with Talent data and ensure completeness.
- Track compliance confirmations (training, independence, Code of Conduct) and escalate exceptions.
Process Coordination:
- Liaise with Regional Operating Managers (ROMs) to collect and validate measures.
- Support project planning and adherence to MARQ timelines.
- Assist in preparing reports for Global RM leadership and Q&ERM assessors.
Quality & Risk Oversight:
- Monitor risk and quality indicators uploaded into MARQ.
- Identify gaps or inconsistencies in data and propose corrective actions.
- Ensure adherence to global governance frameworks and confidentiality protocols.
Stakeholder Engagement:
- Respond to queries from ROMs and executive stakeholders regarding MARQ processes.
- Provide guidance on rating principles and compliance requirements.

- Strong analytical and process management capabilities
- Experience in risk, compliance or operational workflows
- High attention to detail and responsiveness to late-stage changes
- Ability to work independently and within structured frameworks
- Understanding of confidentiality and sensitivity of executive processes
- Understanding process structure and seasonal dynamics
To qualify for the role, you must have
- Strong analytical and presentation skills
- Attention to details and deadlines
- Exceptional and proven communication skills, including responsiveness and commitment to quality (at all level in the organization)
- Ability to identify and flag potential risks to senior leadership. Work towards building and implementing mitigation plans
Ideally, you’ll also have
- Highly developed verbal & written communication in English language
- Experience in working with Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, basic knowledge of Power BI would be a great asset)
- Excellent team attitude, inter-personal skills
- Good time management supported with proper work organization skills
What we look for
We are interested in hiring a team player with strong communication and analytical skills, as well as the right attitude to propose process improvements. Ideally you should have Master degree in Finance and Accounting, Business Administration or in related field. 2 to 3 years of experience in relevant business research role is highly desired. Fluent (B2) English language is a must.
You should be able to independently complete your regular responsibilities according to the deadlines, have a positive attitude, an open mind and “out of the box” thinking mindset. You should be flexible, open to challenges and changes as our environment is young and dynamic.
