Regional Real Estate Program Manager - MENA, UK & Ireland, Nordics & Europe West
Job description
Regional Real Estate Program Manager - MENA, UK & Ireland, Nordics & Europe West
Location: Katowice / Wrocław - 2 days office/3 days remote
Let us introduce you the job offer by EY GDS Poland – a member of the global integrated service delivery center network by EY.
The opportunity
EY Global Delivery Services is seeking a Regional Real Estate Reporting & Business Controlling Specialist to join the Regional Real Estate team. This role is explicitly business‑driven and focused on global real estate reporting, controlling, and governance, rather than traditional project or program management.
The purpose of this role is to provide clear, reliable, and decision‑ready insights into real estate operations across MENA, the UK & Ireland, the Nordics, and the Europe West region. This includes global financial and operational reporting, compliance monitoring, and performance control, with a strong emphasis on accuracy, consistency, and business relevance.
This position requires proven, hands‑on experience in reporting and controlling at scale. The role goes far beyond spreadsheet execution — it demands the ability to structure data, interpret it in a business context, and translate it into meaningful insights for senior stakeholders.
Your key responsibilities
Global Business Reporting & Real Estate Controlling:
- Own and maintain regional and global real estate reporting frameworks, covering financials, lease data, compliance status, operational KPIs, and risk indicators
- Provide business‑oriented controlling support, including cost visibility, tracking of real estate commitments, and variance analysis in close cooperation with Finance
- Ensure data integrity, consistency, and traceability across regions and systems, always maintaining audit‑ready documentation
- Translate complex data into clear, actionable management insights, supporting informed decision‑making at regional and global levels
Governance, Compliance & Risk Tracking:
- Monitor and control the completion and quality of mandatory real estate compliance documentation (leases, procured services, independence and regulatory requirements)
- Maintain structured governance trackers, dashboards, and reporting packs
- Proactively identify gaps, risks, and deviations, and ensure timely escalation with clear recommendations
Reporting Frameworks & Continuous Improvement:
- Design, maintain, and continuously improve global reporting standards, metrics, and templates for the Real Estate function
- Ensure alignment with Real Estate Playbooks, policies, and governance expectations
- Drive consistency and clarity across regions by standardizing how data is collected, reported, and interpreted
Project & PMO Support (Foundational Scope):
- Provide PMO‑style coordination and tracking for real estate initiatives (status monitoring, milestone tracking, follow‑ups)
- Consolidate inputs from third‑party project managers, brokers, and internal stakeholders
- This role does not own end‑to‑end program delivery; the PM mindset is applied to structure, control, and visibility rather than project leadership
Skills and attributes for success
Business Reporting & Controlling (Critical):
- Demonstrated, verifiable experience in business reporting, controlling, or PMO/operations roles
- Strong ability to build, evolve, and operate global reporting frameworks
- Proven capability to interpret financial and operational data, not just compile it
- High analytical rigor combined with strong attention to detail and data quality
This role is not suited for profiles focused solely on data extraction or spreadsheet maintenance. Candidates must demonstrate the ability to own reporting logic, understand business drivers, and explain insights to senior stakeholders.
Project & Operational Mindset:
- Foundational project management or PMO experience, applied to governance, tracking, and coordination
- Ability to manage complexity and multiple stakeholders in a global, matrixed environment
Communication and Presentation Skills:
- Excellent English communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and confidently
- Strong stakeholder management capabilities, able to align diverse viewpoints and drive coordinated progress
- A client‑focused mindset, consistently delivering high‑quality support and service
- Ability to present well‑reasoned, solutions‑oriented recommendations — including to executive‑level stakeholders — ensuring alignment with strategic and operational objectives
To qualify for the role, you must have
- Proven ability to perform effectively under time pressure while consistently maintaining high quality and service standards
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications — particularly Excel (data analysis and manipulation), PowerPoint (executive‑level presentations), and Word — with additional experience in Visio considered an asset
- Global mindset with prior experience working in onshore/offshore delivery models and collaborating with geographically dispersed teams to deliver aligned processes, services, and standards
Ideally, you’ll also have
- Relevant real estate or compliance certifications are a strong asset, demonstrating a proven commitment to industry standards and best practices
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, ideally in Business Administration or a Real‑Estate–related field
