The opportunity

 

As a Senior Consultant within our Digital Identity & Privileged Access Management (DI&PAM) team, you will leverage your technical expertise and process-oriented mindset to provide advanced support and strategic advice to our clients. You will be part of an international team of specialists addressing complex information security challenges and enhancing business resilience.

 

Your key responsibilities

 

  • Lead the development and implementation of CyberArk PAM solutions, including advanced configuration and customization of the CyberArk platform.
  • Oversee the onboarding of new accounts and platforms into the CyberArk environment, ensuring strict compliance with security standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to CyberArk functionalities.
  • Conduct system audits to identify vulnerabilities and recommend strategic improvements to enhance security posture.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for system configurations, processes, and operational procedures.
  • Mentor junior developers and analysts, sharing knowledge and best practices in CyberArk and PAM.
  • Proactively monitor the CyberArk environment for unusual activities and lead incident response efforts.
  • Stay abreast of emerging trends and technologies in the PAM space to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Plan and execute system upgrades, patches, and maintenance activities, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
  • Support compliance and regulatory activities by providing expert documentation and guidance.

 

Skills and attributes for success

 

  • Mandatory certification as a CyberArk PAM Defender; ideally, also hold a CyberArk PAM Sentry certification.
  • Experience working with CyberArk API and SDKs will be an advantage.
  • Basic understanding of Windows Server, Linux and database systems.
  • Deep understanding of concepts such as identity lifecycle, self-service, automated approval processes, RBAC, attestation, separation of duties, and recertification.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to challenges.
  • Strong communication skills, capable of conveying technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

 

To qualify for the role, you must have

 

  • Proven experience of +5 years in CyberArk PAM solutions or similar Identity and Access Management tools.
  • Familiarity with technologies such as JAVA, REST API, LDAP, SAML, Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), Privileged Identity Management (PIM), and PKI.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
  • Proficient in English, with additional language skills being a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python) for automation and operational efficiency.

 

Ideally, you’ll also have

 

  • Experience with cloud-based PAM solutions and integration with cloud services.
  • Knowledge of compliance frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, or GDPR.
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools for continuous integration and deployment.
  • Experience in conducting security training and awareness programs for end-users.
