The opportunity
At EY, you’ll have a chance to build your career as unique as you are, with the global scale, support, inclusive culture and technology to become the best version of you. And we’re counting on your unique voice and perspective to help EY become even better, too.
We are committed to building a better working world. Our global teams help clients navigate complex business challenges and achieve sustainable growth. As part of this mission, we are looking for a dynamic and experienced Manager to join our Business Transformation Delivery and Execution team, with a focus on supporting multiple accounts—primarily in the public sector—to drive business growth across a variety of competencies, including digital and business transformation. This role combines strategic account development with hands-on delivery, offering the opportunity to shape impactful solutions and foster long-term client relationships.
Your key responsibilities
- Lead business development efforts within the Global Delivery Services (GDS) team by collaborating with EY account stakeholders to accelerate account growth, identify new opportunities, and shape winning proposals (RFPs/RFIs).
- Manage and deliver complex projects for EU space and digital clients, ensuring high‑quality, evidence‑based outputs, methodological rigor, and full client satisfaction.
- Coordinate and guide cross‑functional teams, ensuring seamless execution, clear direction, and strong collaboration across diverse competencies.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor and fostering long‑term engagement across the space, defense, and digital policy domains.
- Drive innovation and continuous improvement, bringing fresh ideas, encouraging mutual learning, and contributing to the evolution of team practices and offerings.
- Support capability building, including contributing to internal training programs and mentoring junior team members.
- Support strategic planning and implementation, including shaping the team’s strategic direction and contributing to company‑wide initiatives.
We are looking for an accomplished Consultant, proactive, results‑driven, and ready to make a meaningful impact—who will take ownership of delivering high‑quality projects while driving business development initiatives within our Global Delivery Services (GDS) organization. In this role, you will lead and expand a portfolio of complex assignments, working closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure excellence in execution and client satisfaction.
You will play a key role in strengthening our EU digital team, which supports clients such as DG DEFIS, DG CONNECT, key EU agencies including EUSPA, and international institutions like ESA. Our team focuses on evaluations, impact assessments, economic and policy analysis, as well as market assessments in high‑growth, strategically relevant domains.
We are seeking a professional with strong capabilities in qualitative and quantitative economic and market research—ideally with expertise in the space and defense sector. You will combine analytical skills with a strategic mindset to shape insights, guide decision‑making, and contribute to the team’s growth and its reputation for delivering exceptional value.
To qualify for the role, you must have
- Minimum 7 years of experience in business development, account management, consulting, or public‑sector advisory, including at least 3 years in the space or defense sector.
- Proven track record in driving account growth, identifying new opportunities, and supporting strategic initiatives.
- Experience with EU Space Programme components (Copernicus, Secure Satcom, SSA/SST, Galileo/EGNOS); familiarity with upstream and downstream segments is an advantage.
- Strong background in project management, including coordination of multi‑stakeholder and international teams.
- Experience in writing and winning competitive public‑sector bids (RFPs/RFIs) and producing compelling proposals.
- Strong skills in economic and market analysis, including cost‑benefit analysis and autonomous coordination of data analysis activities.
- Proactive, structured problem‑solver with strong research capabilities.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills in English; additional European languages are a plus.
- Relevant Master’s degree (e.g., economics, business, public policy, IT, engineering, or related field).
